Finally seen this movie two months late was meant to have seen about the time when the lockdown started and no more visits to my local Cineworld was it worth the wait yes this movie is seriously crazy horror comedy thriller at the start u get to meet these characters who u think are in for the long haul then they are gone. for me the star of the movie is Betty gilpin seen her in few other movies but this is her best role yet her fight at the end with hilary swank major badass fight anyway I'm glad I finally seen the movie

Shoehorned comic relief seems off
Unlikeable protagonist
A nice twist on the idea of racism in movies but temper your expectations

Awesome movie
The guest is an extremely underrated movie in my opinion because it delivers everything you want from a thriller/horror and then more added on. It's a really great movie with a lot of mystery going on and throughout the movie more is learned in a clever way, it is a very clever and well made movie with nothing really wrong with it.
I thoroughly enjoyed everything about it and think that most people will too but it just needs more recognition from everyone so go and watch it !

A horror movie with a twist a group of teenagers mistake two hillbillys for serial killers but end dying in gory fashon trying to escape from them not realising the hillbillys are totally harmless i love a movie with a twist this one deliveres from the get go labine and tudyk are the stars of the film and they carry it off. Plenty of gore thumbs up.

Decent
Watching this was what I expected - an "Alien" movie. Lol. The cinematography and effects were cool. The acting was good and the story, while predictable, played out nicely. Just like with the other "Alien" movies, it's a good sci-fi horror flick. Even if you didn't see "Prometheus" you can enjoy this movie as it explains it's background plenty as it goes. Nothing too new or different, but still entertaining. Worth a watch.

Movie Favorite

"Not a horror movie but a valentine to the imagination that hinges on one little girl’s need for an imaginary friend, who turns out to be Boris Karloff’s Frankenstein monster, stepped off the screen in rural Spain when a traveling cinema brings James Whale’s movie to town in the 1930s. Victor Erice’s study of childhood wishes showcases the huge eyes of Ana Torrent and grapples fascinatingly with the importance of fantasy in eras of repression."
