Spooky Scary Ghost
Thir13en Ghost: is a remake horror movie that was distributed by Dark Castle Entertainment, that relased the remakes of The Haunting and House on Haunted Hill both terrible films. So how is this film, its not terrible, but not great.
The plot: A state-of-the-art remake of the classic William Castle horror film about a family that inherits a spectacular old house from an eccentric uncle. There's just one problem: the house seems to have a dangerous agenda all its own. Trapped in their new home by strangely shifting walls, the family encounters powerful and vengeful entities that threaten to annihilate anyone in their path
The main problem with this movie is that their dont explain the ghosts backstories and you have to look them up. Their are distubing and i wish the film explain them.
Other than that, i think the film is good and is better than the pervious dark castle films remakes.
I think this movie is underrated and should be watched.

Not really a horror movie (1 more)
Not much of a whodunit
Here we go again...
I liked the first "Happy Death Day" movie quite a bit. I was the only person in the theater that night, so watching it was a fun experience. I liked the idea of mixing a slasher movie with a time-travel/Groundhog's Day motif.
And while I enjoyed the sequel quite a bit, it wasn't nearly as fresh or original as the first movie. Which makes sense. Because it is basically the same movie, except with the horror and whodunit aspects stripped out...
This time Tree (what a dumb name!) gets popped into a parallel universe where things are just slightly different from the first movie. She still repeats the same day over and over. She still dies every day. But this time some of the details of her life are jumbled up - with some characters back to life, and interpersonal relationships changed - so she feels off-balance.
I had hoped that this would lead to a "Scream"-style search for who the killer is, mixed with new relationships, but the whole killing aspect is really put on the back burner. When the reveal happens, it doesn't make sense and there's no build up for it. It just happens. Then the story moves on.
Instead, this movie is about trying to choose between two different types of loss and using a sci-fi deus ex machina to give Tree the power to make that choice.
Will she stay in the new universe? Will she go back "home?" Does anyone really care?
Still, the actors are decent and the movie moves along quickly enough that I wasn't bored. You should definitely see the first movie first, because many of the details in the sequel rely on that knowledge. In fact, I didn't remember it all, even though I have seen it, so it caused a bit of confusion.
But I still recommend this one if you are a fan of genre movies.

Plenty of in-jokes
Quite funny for a Horror film
Ghost Face
What's your favourite Scary movie?
The film that breathed new life in to the Slasher film franchise. It's cool, slick, funny and gory in equal measure. The cast is great and the story is done really well. Will have you guessing who the Killer is and enjoying the ride to the very end.

Great location
Decent Horror film
When I first heard this was a creepy doll movie I didn't get my hopes up. Surprisingly I did enjoy it. Lauren Cohan of The Walking Dead is good as the Nanny. The Mansion is almost a character in itself looking like a Gothic Castle. It has some neat twists and was much better than I expected.

If you’re a mere fan of great movies, then WIND RIVER is definitely the one to go and see this August. It’s not only the perfect antidote to the big, dumb summer blockbusters – WIND RIVER has a wise and winsome spirit under its frigid, frostbitten façade

So bad it's good!
Slither is one of those movies that i always forget about but when I finally rewatch it I enjoy it just as much as the first time.
It's over the top and gorey and a lot of over acting at it is freaking wonderful.
Plus to top it off i am always a sucker for a horror movie that uses practical effects.

Dean (6927 KP) rated Jennifer's Body (2009) in Movies
Aug 30, 2018 (Updated Aug 31, 2018)
Hmm a bit of a mish, mash of a film, that doesn't seem to know its own identity. Is it a horror, comedy, B-movie or teenage drama. Well a tiny bit of all of that, without excelling in any one area. It's ok not overly funny, scary, gory or witty. It has some good one liners and effects but it could have been a lot better.

Complete let down
In Conjuring 2 where the nun makes it's first appearance, it scared the bejibbes out of me, so I was so excited when they announced the nun was coming out with her movie. From the beginning, it was stale, boring and uneventful. It wasn't scary, I wouldn't even come close to saying it was a horror film at all. So disappointed.

Weird
Contains spoilers, click to show
This movie was what I expected... weird. The song and cinematography were good. The story, however was a strange crazed scientist/baron using human body fluids to stay alive until he can continue his bloodline(purely?)through his daughter. Anyway, it had plenty of creep factor and decent effects(nothing too high end but good). Ok horror flick for a boring rainy day. Worth a watch.
