This movie is odd for me. It's seen as a cult classic and a 'must watch' but when I watched it I found myself extremely disappointed.

It's not that the movie is bad, don't get me wrong it's not... But it's so hyped up that you can't help but feel disappointed when the gore level is low and so is the kill count.

Be that as it may it is a good movie. The acting is decent, the plot is good and the characters are memorable. It's also greatly improved for any serial killer nerds like myself when you see all of the connections to Ed Gein throughout the movie and Leatherface being inspired by him. Not to mention the respect you gain for the cast and crew when you see the filming conditions they had to put up with.

So yeah, this movie is good and any horror fan should watch it at least once but..... Don't get your hopes up for a full on blood bath.

A Fresh Thrill
An exciting horror movie that actually feels fresh. The tension is built well by the director and the score compliments the whole thing well. It's not the best script in Hollywood and is a bit ridiculous in places, but it's a fun thriller that will keep you engaged for its runtime.

Meh
This was a strange one. The acting and cinematography were decent. The story had a twist or two that were semi-unexpected. But overall it was just an "ok" movie. Nothing great or anything. The description only scratches the surface of it. Is listed under horror but it wasn't scary, really. A little intense, at times, but not scary. If you can't find anything else, it's worth a watch.

What We Do In The Shadows (2014)
What We Do In The Shadows (2014)
2014 | Comedy, Horror
An alternative horror comedy with classic monsters who house share, who would have thought this up as an idea and whoever green lit this took a risk that pays off even though it's quite a divisive and Marmite movie.
It seems as though it's one large skit without a plot, but each of the characters play off each other so well that this is easily forgotten..a surprisingly pleasing watch.

I found this one on Netflix. It looked like it might be better than it was. I tried to get through it, I really did, but the whole thing was terrible. The acting was weak, effects were weaker. The cinematography was just, so-so and the storyline was, well, nonexistent. It's listed as a horror movie but it's so bad it was just sad. This one is NOT worth a watch.

I started watching this movie on Netflix unsure of what to expect. It turned out to be surprisingly good. It's a monster story unlike any I've seen. Very creative and unique. The acting was good and the effects, while minimal, were excellent. The story played out very well and the cinematography was very well done. Kids probably won't like it much, but this one is really worth a watch.

See no evil 2- is much better than the oringal. Its more scarer, has charcters that you actually care about, well just danielle's chacter and jacob goodnignt. Its set in a Morgue so it actually makes sense for a rising dead corpse.

Horror legend danielle harris is in it so thats a plus.

Overall a better movie, only toke them 8 years to make it.
