Good family film (0 more)
After putting off watching this film for some time I decided to give it a go one evening after hearing all of my friends praise it. Unfortunately I didn’t enjoy it as much as they said I would. Even though Hugh Jackman and Zach Efron were brilliant actors I just couldn’t bring myself to put all of my attention into watching the film. I would recommend this film if you enjoy musicals but I wouldn’t bother watching it again.

Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart's last(?) (or so they say) outing as Wolverine and Professor Xavier respectively, this is a violent and bloody R-rated stand-alone that owes more to classic Westerns (in particular Shane) than to any of the other X-men movies to date.

Very loosely based in the Old Man Logan graphic novels, in that it follows an aging Wolverine in a future society following an undisclosed disaster, with that about all it takes from those stories.

It was amazing
The movie was absolutely astonishing. Not only was Hugh Jackman included but the songs were great and so catchy and it’s a family friendly film that everyone can enjoy.
However, although it is a great movie, it in a way celebrates P.T Barnum as someone who empowered people when in reality he exploited them for his own benefit.
For instance, one of his earliest “hits” was Joice Heth, a blind, partially paralysed slave. Barnum claimed she was 161 years old (even though she was half that) and when she died, he held a public autopsy and charged people to watch. Obviously we wouldn’t see Jackman do that.
However, without any reference to what Barnum was actually like, I love this film so much and would definitely watch it again.

Amazingly magial
This film blew me away, it takes me a while usually to get emotional over a film. But not this one. Every song in the film is so powerful and will leave you close to tears (especially 'This Is Me') it shows that you should accept and love who you are no matter what you look like and the more you care for a person the more they can be your family no matter the background. I'd recommend to everyone any day

Wow!!!
Having tried to avoid this film since it came out, I finally succumbed and was immediately obsessed.

The story of PT Barnum and his freak show has been filmed before but this film totally dazzled me. Yeah, so it’s not historically correct, take this musical for what it is and you’ll love it!

The songs are catchy, there is a tidy story, and what girl in her right mind doesn’t enjoy the opportunity to dribble over Hugh Jackman and Zac Efron!!

Phenomenonal movie
This movie is possibly one of the best musicals to come out of Hollywood in a few years! The music is extremely catchy, you'll want to hear it again and again. Hugh Jackman and Zac Efron's number "The Other Side" is a choreography spectacle, "This Is Me" is a powerhouse anthem, "Rewrite the Stars" both vocally and visually stunning!!! The acting is just amazing, and the plot is heartwarming, with a few tugs on the heart strings for good measure. You'll want to see this movie again and again, ad naseum

Don't really understand Jenny's role (0 more)
LOVED IT
Contains spoilers, click to show
I'm only adding to my negative thing, but it contains spoilers so I'm writing it here - Jenny was a complete b*tch. She knew she was just an act to Barnum. He did let her know at the beginning. What was the point in moving in on him? He introduced her to his wife and daughters!
