Fascinating and tragic - a journey into the human brain
Oliver Sacks, the late eminent British neurologist, is wonderfully curious and compassionate while journeying into people's experiences of the human brain. It is both humorous in some aspects but mostly tragic and terrifying to see how fragile human beings truly are. It is explained in the simplest of terms, though there is still a lot of scientific jargon. And some particular cases such as the disembodied woman and the man with nightmares is rather frightening. Fantastic read.

Realistic not Hollywood style thriller
Luke Smitherd has done another great job in bringing to life characters facing inexplicable terror. Chris, the protagonist, is both humorous and human - making misguided choices based on the little experiences that he had. The man in white is a brilliant villain, odious through his fake good humour and his macabre outlook of life. I really wish we could've found out how and why the man in white chose his victims and not just just how he picked his pawns. Would recommend!

This completely original film meets every dream I could possible have centering around a museum. In short, there's only one dream that I'm sure every kid has had about museums, the idea of those plastic displays and figurines coming to life. This movie takes that idea and makes it into something truly unique. Along with being absolutely hilarious this film offers the perfect escape from reality and a great film that both the kids and yourself can enjoy.

Who doesn't want to have a literary adventure?!
The authors humorous character is revealed within this book. Following a teenage girl the book sets up for those to follow. I began reading this when i was 12 years old and 8 years later i purchased the latest book in the series. The easy to read plot line grasps its readers and draws them into another world within the one we know. It certainly brings adventure and excitement into real life.
