This story was right up my street. It had everything I look for in a book; humour, sexiness and a good plotline. So in my opinion Cora Carmack is a genius!

If you ask me, Garrick quite possibly pulled every single female reader within those first two chapters. Girls, he’s hot! In fact, Garrick seems pretty fecking perfect and I have to say I’m slightly jealous of Bliss. The rest of the characters are a fun bunch and when they do the whole getting drunk thing together I was laughing.

If you’re looking for a fun, sexy read then I recommend this book. It’s amazing!

"Robert's voice does the same to me as Antony's – it's all about vulnerability and power together. I also love Robert's playfulness in his language, in the way he makes music, and his humour. It's like he makes up his own rules.

And to think of what he'd experienced: to have been this virtuosic drummer having to change his whole way of making music. He's always taking me on lots of different journeys when I listen to him. He also came to see us singing his songs live once, which was terrifying! But he was so generous and so full of warmth afterwards though, which just as I'd expected from his songs."

"They're a fake rap posse from Saturday Night Live. When we were working on Contra we enjoyed this, because it's so funny. We often use humour to deal with the difficulties of our lifestyle and listening to this was a better way to get in a good mood than listening to any other kind of music. I was struck by the way their love of music came through. Being a music fan is goofy. It's about amassing all this useless knowledge, but you do it because there's something about it you love. Some people take that and turn it into something more serious. The Lonely Island turn it into something funny"

Funny Horror
An ok Horror with a comedy slant. Featuring a nice cameo from Robert Englund. A bunch of serial killers escape an asylum to take over a Horror park based on their murders.
It's funny in places and the gore generally is OK, although very cheap looking in some scenes. Just a bit hit and miss with the comedy and scares a lot of the time. Often somewhere in the middle of not funny or scary enough.
Check out @Hell Fest (2018) on Netflix, similar but slightly better I felt with a cameo from Tony Todd.

Laugh out loud quirkiness
A big fan of this comedic duo of internetainers from their YouTube channel, this book did not fail to deliver the same humour, creativity and genius that you would expect if you watch their long running series.
I very much enjoyed the stories and pictures of this almost lifelong friendship, and the people that are close to them, mixed in with their standard quirky style silliness, from inventions to pre-written eulogies, crazy adventures, that pose on that sofa!
Its a book you can pick up, read, put down and go back to. You don't need to be a mythical beast to enjoy Rhett and Link's comedy.

I thought some of this book was ridiculous but i fell in love with it anyway. Especially Roman and his relationship with Kasha. Oh, and her robotic arm. Not that i didnt love the rest of the cast but those two were my favourites. These girls got up to some right mischief but still managed to win two amazingly hot guys. I was in stitches quite a few times with their exploits and didnt want to put the book down at all.

Definitely recommend this if you like contemporary romances with quite a lot of humour in them. I look forward to reading more books by these authors.

A story of brotherly love... (0 more)
Ten year old Marty loves his brother Steve. But Steve has been acting very weird recently and Marty is about to reveal the shocking truth as to why...

Written from the perspective of Marty this is a well written and gruesome little novel of how situations can quickly escalate and spiral out of control. Fast paced, the darkest of humour and plenty of blood and gore keep this twisted story going at full pelt for its brief 137pages. Highly recommended for those that have a strong disposition and cast iron gut!
Now where did I leave my bowling bag?

Had read alot of mixed reviews for this movie but was open to giving it a try.First of all this is the weakest of all the DC movies so far for me (yes I even preferred suicide squad to this)

It had its moments and the humour at times was ok but there was alot that let this movie down.Mark Strong's bad guy was truly awful and was about as menacing as a chocolate teapot, zachary levi looked uncomfortable at times as shazam and as for the seven deadly sins gargoyles..just plain awful and hokey looking.

Very good. Not great though.
A host of new characters, some reunions with old characters, some lovely Easter Eggs. But a rather tired plot, and a 20minute lull two thirds of the way through.
The animation once again is absolutely phenomenal, Pixar just keep pushing the boundaries and improving on what is achievable with animation.
There was some humour throughout, but a lot less than usual with Toy Story, and to be honest a lot less charm than we're used to.
And those freaky bloody dummies. They creep me right out.
A good family film, but did not quite meet my (admittedly high) expectations.

I hadn't heard about the backlash but have just looked into it. What utter nonsense, as usual, the humans are largely irrelevant to the film, and the rest of the cast of the film are ... toys. I'm all for diversity but picking on Toy Story 4 for this is crazy. I do agree the point and forky - he should be trying to be recycled (which technically he already has been) not get to the trash (I hope that isn't a spoiler).

Toy story 4 was epic. I love the Toy Story franchise. They are great family movies. My kids are older kids and they still enjoyed it. I thought the ending was a little sad, but I wont spoil it incase you haven't seen it. Its definitely worth a watch.
