Buffy meets Mills & Boon
Another nocturne short read from Mills & Boon (Silhouette). Think Buffy the Vampire Slayer style vampire hunters, combating some nasty vampires set on taking over the world, one business at a time.
The characters are well developed, and the plot is well written. Again I very much enjoyed reading this as a break between heavier novels.
With some naughty scenes, a sassy female and a strong male lead. Michael comes from a line of vampire hunters, with some additional strength as a buy product of a relative turned vampire, overcoming his vampiric affliction. Having lost a past love to the vampires, he was reluctant to fall for Jessie... but love overcomes all.

Moon Hunters is a wonderful roguelike RPG that is quite unlike anything else available on the Switch, offering a bite-sized, engaging adventure that is extremely replayable and can be enjoyed both alone and with friends.

With animal rights and hunters at her inn, Magdalena has her hands full before a dead body turns up. The mystery comes late and is light, but the characters are fun.

Predator design (1 more)
Great Sfx
Arnie at his best
A close call as one of Arnie's best films. A very good action/horror that still looks up to date with recent films. Simple premise as the hunters become the hunted. The Predator looks awesome and the effects, with little cgi, still look good 30 years later.

Toned down and having to open up with a new plot and antagonists, since the original fortune hunters are now all dead, this one does retread the same ground but still, it entertaining.
The costumes have become more tame, as has the overall feel, but it delivers the formula and is now becoming quite practiced at it.

Harm no human...
A hired gunslinger, William Jessup Brady lived his life with one foot in the grave. He believed that every life had a price. Until the day when he finally found a reason to live. In one single act of brutal betrayal, he lost everything, including his life. Brought back by a Greek goddess to be one of her Dark-Hunters, he gave his immortal soul for vengeance and swore he'd spend eternity protecting the humans he'd once considered prey.
Orphaned as a toddler, Abigail Yager was taken in by a family of vampires and raised on one belief - Dark-Hunters are the evil who prey on both their people and mankind, and they must all be destroyed. While protecting her adoptive race, she has spent her life eliminating the Dark-Hunters and training for the day when she meeting the man who killed her family: Jess Brady.
A gun in the hand is worth two in the holster....
Jess has been charged with finding and terminating the creature who's assassinating Dark-Hunters. The last thing he expects to find is a human face behind the killings, but when that face bears a striking resemblance to the one who murdered him centuries ago, he knows something evil is going on. He also knows he's not the one who killed her parents. But Abigail refuses to believe the truth and is determined to see him dead once and for all.
Brought together by an angry god and chased by ancient enemies out to kill them both, they must find a way to overcome their mutual hatred or watch as one of the darkest of powers rises and kills both the races they've sworn to protect.
I love this series to be honest there's not a Kenyon book I don't enjoy! Loved learning about Jess and Abigail the story was so involved not sure I'd enjoy the plagues though!
I enjoy the relationships in this book as we don't normally get so many Dark Hunters in one place!
The bonus chapter was even more special showing a very rare occasion of Artemis doing something nice for Ash! Oh and Simi no book is complete without Simi and her BBQ sauce.

A story about being reunited with family and overcoming things together.
I thought this book was pretty great, not my favorite book by Denise Hunter as I felt it a bit more dramatic than need be (which is unusual for Denise Hunters Books). But overall it was a great summer read and I give it 3 out of 5 stars.

Another Great Book in The Lost Clan series. I absolutely loved this book, it is well written, great plot and characters. I like the conflict between the fairies and the hunters. Catori doesn't know who to trust and needs to follow her instincts. I was not expecting the romance at all. An overall great read. I received an ARC copy for a honest, voluntary review.
