Another Angry Birds, but begs for In App Purchases
This is literally a cash cow for Rovio.

I downloaded this app cause my kids love the films, however I found out over a couple of months that they were buying lots of gem packs, which Google and the designer was unwilling to refund. These were simple 99p purchases to £19.99 packs, having played the game I was offered to buy gems about 10 times in 15 minutes gameplay.

It is a good game but watch out for the milking of real money for gems and feathers

Yesssss
I found this movie while searching for movies with Chris Evans that I never saw before. This film also has Kim Basinger and William H. Macy. It is about a family who gets caught up with some crooked cops and Kim Basinger s son and herself get kidnapped. She figures out how to make a call to a random number on a phone the kidnapper smashed and winds up calling Chris' characters cell phone and he is now trying to save her and her son without knowing where they are. It is very exciting right until the end and I loved it. Worth a see if you like action films.

What can I say other than how wonderful this story was. It was well written. The style of the book - small acts, almost like watching a play - though different, was easy to get used to. I think it made visualising the story easier. I don't want to give anything away so I'll just be vague...

The lead character is running from something and arrives in thunder mountain. There she meets someone running from his own past. You get to meet the characters from the first book all over again as this story plays out.

Loved reading the twists in the plot and found it hard to put it down. Can't wait to read the next installment.

Book 3 of the series and I would recommend that you read the previous books before starting this as it is not stand alone. It's written well, a little confusing as I don't know who all the characters are as I've not read any others in the series. Not much happens in the book, Meg marries Seth mainly to show the media she's moving on with her Life after Spike and then Meg and Seth decide to give the sham marriage a go. The End. Really, that's it! Could really have done with a little more action in the book for me as I found it boring in the end and couldn't wait to finish it.

We've come so far since vinyl
I pay monthly for the premium option. My passion is vinyl and at a cost of around £20 a month for one vinyl, Spotify is a world of new information for less cost.
With many features including discover, which can generate a playlist based on sounds you have enjoyed that week. The opportunity to find new music is totally in your hands.
I have found bands months before they hit the radio. Been to intimate gigs I would never have had the same experience in, was it not for discovering new unsigned bands on Spotify.
Music has come a long way.

Aiyana is intrigued by an attack that has happened on a chemical company so goes to investigate, gets a bit spooked but gets something to look further into to discover what has caused the attacks. Then the building she works in is attacked. That is only the start of the adventure!

I found this story took me a bit to get into, but once I got there I was able to wiz through it quite quickly. There is a lot of action from the get-go and a lot of cool characters.

The seem like they should belong to one of the 2 major graphic novel producers. Extremely intriguing.

Definitely recommend you read this

I loved this book! I loved the intrigue and mystery...and it had a gnome!!!! I love gnomes!!!

Hobin Luckyfeller is a fishis (want to know what that is, then look it up in the book, lol). He comes across fourteen letters sent from a husband to his wife that talk about a major project that has to do with runes and how to trap the Dark Lord. Hobin must try to read in between the lines to figure out what everything means.

The title definitely suits the book! I won't say too much because of spoilers, but once you read the book, you'll definitely know why. It's a perfect title!!

The cover is very ominous looking! I like the way it looks like it's made of leather. I think the cover suits the book because of the three runes on it which, the whole book mentions the runes throughout. I don't really get the yellow face on the cover though. That takes away from it a bit, but I kind of like the yellow face for some odd reason.

The pacing of this book was perfect! As I said, it's only a short story, and sometimes it's difficult to get the pacing right in short stories, however Mr. Buckley gets the pacing spot on! I found myself wanting to know more before I had even finished the chapter I was on!

The dialogue was easy to understand especially since there's a glossary type thing in the back of the book which helps with the pronunciation of words and what they mean as well as who people and places are in the book. I found this to be most useful because with some of the words, I had a difficult time pronouncing them!

I loved the character of Hobin Luckyfeller. I'm not just saying that because he's a gnome! I loved his thirst for knowledge and how he wanted to figure everything out. He wouldn't stop for anything. As for Eamon, the author of the letters, I felt so bad for him. I felt his pain at not being able to see his wife and children.

My favourite part of the book was after the end. No, not because the book was over, but because there was information on the authors. Yes, I said authors! It lists Hobin Luckyfeller as one of the authors along with Jaime Buckley. I found this to be quite humouress!

Jaime Buckley definitely has a way with words. I thought this story was very well written. It's definitely piqued my interest in the Wanted: Hero series that Jaime Buckley has written.

I'd recommend this book to everyone aged 15+ especially those who love fantasy, mystery, dwarves, goblins, etc.

This is definitely not a read for people who have a delicate stomach or are repulsed by graphic and descriptive reads.

I myself loved the fact that this book really turned my stomach and the horrific story line blew away all rational thinking. This author found the darkest recesses of his mind and invited us in for an exclusive look.

My only con with Frank Made Lunch is that it is in need of editing but even that didn't stop me from giving it the rating that I felt it deserved.

This is the BEST horror book I've read this year and trust me...... you WANT to read this. I HIGHLY recommend you read this book and would love this made into a movie. I'll end this review by saying that Frank will remain inside my mind for many years to come.

Predictable but Good
I love a good thriller, so I was very excited to read The First Mistake by Sandie Jones. The synopsis just sucked me in. I was so happy that this book didn't disappoint.

The plot sucked me in right away. I found myself immersed in the world that Sandie Jones had created for her characters. Alice is still grieving over her husband Tom who died years ago. However, she's now married to Nathan and has a daughter with him. Alice soon suspects that Nathan is having an affair. When Alice tries to find out if Nathan is cheating, that's when she begins to realize that no one is who they seem. I will say that while I did find the plot interesting enough, I also found it predictable. Early on, I had predicted the plot twists for this book including the major plot twist. That didn't me enjoy it any less. I kept reading to make sure I was correct in my predictions. What really irked me the most was the ending of The First Mistake. It just seemed really rushed. The truth came out, and then it was all over within a page. I don't want to go into too much detail due to spoilers, but I just felt as if the author couldn't be bothered to write anymore, so she took the easy way out. I would have liked to know what happened to everyone in a few months time instead of the book ending so suddenly.

I thought all of the characters were well written in The First Mistake. Alice was a likable character, and I found myself angry when it seemed like Nathan may have been cheating on her. However, I felt like she was cheating on Nathan in a sense as she was still grieving her dead husband almost 10 years later. Beth was an interesting character, and I enjoyed her backstory. However, I felt like she wasn't around enough in the actual present day story. We learn about her past, but we don't see her and Alice interact too much even though they are best friends. Although I had Nathan figured out, I felt he was fleshed out very well, and I loved how convincing and charming he was towards his wife and how great he was at calming her fears about him having an affair even when all the evidence that he was cheating was there. Olivia was my favorite character. She's Nathan's and Alice's daughter. I just thought she was the cutest little girl!

The pacing was done very well, and the only place I felt like it faltered was during Beth's backstory. I just felt there was too much information that was irrelevant when learning about Beth's past. Apart from that, I felt like the pacing stayed consistent throughout.

Trigger warnings for The First Mistake include sexual situations (though not graphic), drinking alcohol, profanity, violence, and death.

All in all, The First Mistake is an interesting read. Although I found it predictable, and I hated the ending, I still enjoyed this book very much. I would recommend The First Mistake by Sandie Jones to everyone aged 17+ who enjoy a good thriller. This one does not disappoint.
