Very Basic, but still Enjoyable Enough
You know, I actually enjoyed this film. Yes it’s predictable and doesn’t do anything that hasn’t been done before. AND it feels like a typical Liam Neeson film. Not to mention the one dimensional bad guys.
But I can’t help but love Liam Neeson. And I’m a sucker for those “older man helps kid” storylines. I find the film heartwarming and it somehow struck a cord with me. Plus it wasn’t too long so it didn’t feel like it dragged on. Not an amazing movie by any means, but I found myself fairly engaged.

Over the River and Through the Woods reminds me of the song or even poem that you sing on your way to Grandma's when you are going their to eat at Thanksgiving. If this Title did not remind you of that I do not know why.
The Title did this and I could not forget the song or poem that pops into my mind when it did. I would love to have download the one I found that sing the complete song of this title but it seem to be hard. There seem to be different versions of this song.
This book has different stories in it. They are all short and sweet. I loved each story. There seem to be poem and a recipe in the book. I really did enjoy each story that was written and chosen for this book. There was not one that I did not like. Each author show their talent and or story.
The way this is set up I enjoyed it. I was able to read multiple stories in one night. I really like that each story was short or told about their memories on Christmas memories. Each story was heartfelt and loving.

Caroline Stark has been married to her husband, Jason, for 20 years. They have one daughter, Hannah, who is a freshman in college. In order to get back at Jason, she decides to have a one-night stand with a local bartender, Aidan, who also just happens to be the stranger who like to stand on the beach and stare at her house for hours. But the events that follow that one night are far more than Caroline bargained for. Even stranger her story and Aidan's story seem completely different. Who is telling the truth? And who will you believe?

This book drew me in from the very beginning and didn't let me go until the end. Being a woman I truly felt bad for Caroline and the situation she was in. I think I would lose it, if I found out my husband was having an affair. I don't know if I would go out looking for vindication by doing the same deed.
From the start, I didn't like Aidan, he seemed like one of those guys you say hi to in passing and the next thing you know, he's everywhere you turn. He really creeped me out.
I loved this book and I couldn't put it down. I didn't see the twists and turns coming and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Michele Campbell writes books that leave your mind spinning. Pick this one up as soon as you can.

I was bored, to put it simply. As the pages turned, I found myself asking over and over why I continued to read when I wasn't exactly loving the book. But on I read, determined to see this one through, slightly spurred on by the little hints and foreshadowing sprinkled throughout the story. Then it happened. Every prediction affirmed, revealing a hideous and heartwrenching truth. Honestly, I was quite surprised at how much I hurt, considering how ***bored*** I was during most of the book; but I did hurt, and I mourned Jacob right alongside Trixie. When I saw I was already 90% finished, I had a feeling I would be disappointed again - who loves a story without a happy ending, one such as this. However, like with After You and Me Before You, as tragic as this ending is, I think it's easier to imagine Trixie slowly healing and eventually moving on with life (though never forgetting Jacob and the impact he had) than to experience it happening. Originally, I would have given God-Shaped Hole a 2 or 2.5 star review, but because Tiffanie made my heart break so deeply, I have to give it a 3.5 rating - I was very impressed with how much she made me feel in the final 10% of this book.

First off, let me start by saying that I LOVED THIS BOOK! There, I feel better now. This book left me with a book hangover and I found myself regurgitating things that were done and said within the pages. Let me also say that, like so many others, the ending slayed me. I won't go into why - you either know already or you want to find out for yourself. I understand why she did it but still couldn't believe it. I found myself the following morning going back through the start of the book to find out if there were any links between the two males mentioned! And before you panic, NO there isn't a love triangle!

There is so much more to this story than just Cinderella and the antics that Kat gets up to and involved with are both brilliant and also understandable given the circumstances.
This was both well-written and well-paced. It is a slow burner as it sets the scene but once Kat is in StoryLand, the ball just keeps on a-rolling. Funny, poignant, roll your eyes and laugh out loud, all these things were felt or done whilst I was reading this story. Absolutely adored it and am definitely adding Aya Ling to my list of authors to look out for. Highly recommended.

Yet another movie in a series to go and see, in this case though I didn't bother with the first one. If I'm honest it never really appealed to me. I like comedy, but this sort of humour feels like it grates at times. And partly it did.
I did laugh, and it did pass the time reasonable well, but it's not a great film. It's getting the third star for the montage in the middle where the troopers disguise themselves as Mounties and start pulling people over. I know, of all the things I could have found amusing I really don't know why it was that.
Some great support actors around and I was kind of surprised to see them in it. But worth a watch if you like that sort of thing.

Revision is a Process is a well-thought out, easy-to-read, informative book, that gives plenty of examples and descriptions on just how you can tighten up a manuscript. There is plenty of knowledge within the pages, plus shortcuts that the author is happy to share. In bite-sized chunks, you could either read it in one go, or focus on the particular chapter that will help you currently. Personally, I found it very helpful, and will certainly be putting into practice some of the recommended routines.
I would definitely recommend this book for anyone who is self-editing, and wants to know more about what they should do, and how they should do it.

Legion is a programme that needs to be watched, it is so visually stunning, and you can easily become lost if you don't give it the full attention it deserves. The opening to this season was fantastic, it was captivating from the opening shots, and harkened back to the Season 1 glory.
It had the slow and steady pace that quietly draws you in, whilst also being completely fantastical, and leaves you wondering what exactly is going on, or where it will lead.
I loved the new combinations, of what I will deem 'teams', and the deep dive into David's past was completely disarming - this becomes more apparent, and relevant, throughout this season.
I read as little as I could about the original Legion, so I had a lot of 'lightbulb' moments throughout this season, but you don't need to be a comic book geek to follow the story.
I found that I had fallen out of love with a couple of the characters, and some of them had less screen time than I would have expected too.
It felt like a bit of a dirge, marching towards the end but this intentionally added to the weight, and severity of the overall arc.
There were still some sweet comedic moments amongst the dark and twisted tone though.
Overall, I was still rooting for a few of the characters and was glad to see them fulfilled in varying ways.
However, I think this was a fitting end to their journey, and I would be happy if it was left as it is now.
