This is a great book!!! I couldn't put it down, it was such an easy read. And I wanted to see if Cole would fall in love with Penelope. I really like the characters, and where the story headed. Even the sub characters were great. I will note that there wasn't too many erotica scenes, but the book didn't need it. I'd definitely recommend this book to all my friends.

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
When I first read the description of Mask of Shadows I knew I had to read it. It sounded absolutely fascinating and something just a little bit different than the normal Fantasy Young Adult novels on the market. The first thing that stood out to me was the gender fluid nature of the main character. It was well done. I loved the openness of this book and the fact that it wasn't highlighted too much. I loved how different Sal was and how the gender fluidity was there but more realistic in a sense.
The plot was intense and it kept my attention. I loved how it was Hunger Games meets Game of Thrones meets Selection. It was interesting to read and it had some twists and turns that had me on my toes.
Ultimately, I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fantasy and adventure.

Bill Murray (3 more)
Tilda Swinton
Adam driver
Iggy Pop
Finally got around to watching this and I didn't like it as much as I thought I did for a comedy about zombies there wasn't many laughs to be had. Plus not enough Selena Gomez either bill Murray was good and so was Adam driver and too see Tilda Swinton with a samurai sword being badass. Plus Iggy Pop as a zombie wanting his coffee fix. Could have been so much better think I will stick to zombieland

This book seemed to get dragged out for an extra 150+ pages, and I expected some really big cataclysmic showdown in those pages after all the build up of the previous 400 but nope. Instead of a bang it ended with a pop.
I was very disappointed, although I had been losing interest since just over half way. There was just too much filler and not enough happening in the book to keep my interest.
My interest in YA Paranormal has just nosedived completely. I won't be continuing the series.

It had promise but in the end I didn't care enough about the characters or the storyline. I didn't cry at the end when everything went past shaped, like I would have if I'd fallen for the characters.
It also seemed like chunks of time just vanished between one paragraph and the next, which was a little confusing. It needed page breaks or something.
And finally the romance. I didn't fully get it. Yeah, it would probably have been Nain for me too, Molly, but there was something missing.

I really wanted to like this book, but the dialog was so painful I almost didn't finish it. The descriptions and action scenes felt too choppy. There were more continuity issues and contradictions than I can count (for one, thing, if you are out of visual range of something, you can't look back in the next sentence and see what said something was doing!) and by the time we're 90% into the book I KNOW who Karen is and there is no reason to refer to her or any other character by their full names anymore, at least not so frequently.
The basic idea was good - and it had the potential to be an entertaining, if far-fetched, techno-thriller, but I couldn't recommend this even to die-hard Michael Crichton fans.

4.5 stars!
I got really into this. The mystery surrounding Jay and his vendetta against the woman who'd ran his name through the mud in her newspaper articles. Bu there was also something else there, something he wasn't saying.
I LOVED IT!
I can't go into too much detail or I'll give everything away but it was so well put together and thought out that it really impressed me.
The only reason I knocked it down half a star was Jay's behaviour towards Matilda at times. Saying that he wants to be friends and no matter how much he seems to want her she has to say no and when she doesn't he just gives in anyway. Mixed signals or what, Jay!
But nevertheless, I really enjoyed this story!

As with all the other Maeve Binchy books I've read, I loved this one too! 12 chapters...one for each month of the year in which the book takes place. Great story between Tom and Cathy, two catering school buddies who decide to open up their own catering business. There are side stories about the other characters in the book and they all intertwine. Maeve Binchy is a wonderful storyteller and this book did not disappoint. There was a time when I didn't think I would finish it before I had to return it to the library...I did renew it once! LOL!

Hmmm
This started really well but then it started to seem like it would be going on forever. I loved the interaction between the characters but the amount of sex scenes started to bore me after a while. I know they're wolves and all but there must have been about 20 sex scenes which was way too many for me and I started skipping them entirely nearer the end.
