Okay, when I started this I was probably 35% interested in the ending (getting Sespian back on the throne if possible, the guys getting their bounties removed, Sicarius and Amaranthe finding each other after thinking the other was dead) and 65% interested in Amaranthe and Sicarius getting their night together that was mentioned in the previous book and finishing what had been in the works since probably book 1 or 2.
I think there was a little too much discussion in the first 40% or so, and with me eager for my two favourite characters to find each other again I may have skipped a few bits though I don't think I missed anything exciting.
There was a lot of action in this one as everything reached its pinnacle: outing bad guys, running into gang members, the return of monsters...it was full on to say the least.
But for me the best bit has to be the epilogue *grins like an idiot* and I'm sure you can figure out what happens in it.
One thing made me almost cry but I wont spoil it by telling you what.
A great ending to the series and I cant wait to read more about Sicarius and Amaranthe's adventure!

So, it's finally here, Happy Infinity War day!
Now, I'm even going to enter down. Seriously, don't read any further if you want the movie unspoiled.
Yes, I'm calling the film predictable, because it was. It's not necessarily a bad thing, there just wasn't anything that honestly surprised me.
For one, I completely guessed the first two people to bite the dust, based solely on the end credit scene in Ragnarok. Heimdall dies first, but not before conveniently getting Hulk out of there.
Loki dies next, but not before you think they're completely going to reverse the story arc from Ragnarok. Whew, but they didn't. Hiddles did a really fantastic job in the whole 5-10 min he was in the film.
Thanos looked pretty good, they seemed to have fixed the color on him from the whack neon purple in that first trailer. His minions were a bit weak, and overall I don't even know what their names were, however, I don't think I was supposed to care.
I think the Guardians of the Galaxy were given way too much screentime. I'm so over them. I also got a Gamora backstory that I didn't want nor need. I'm hoping she's one of the for sure dead.
I was so happy they finally addressed Red Skull, of course he was alive! My only question is, yall couldn't shell out enough money to get Hugo Weaving back in the makeup? Come on Disney.
The only characters I for sure believe are dead and gone, are Vision, Loki, and Heimdall. Gamora is up for debate. Everyone else...come on, it's a comic book movie. I do wish they'd have had the balls to let Tony Stark die.
So, at the end, we're left with the OG Avengers. Hawkeye and Ant Man are with their fams, and Thanos got what he wanted. There's also the Captain Marvel paging scene after the credits. Of course it needed to be in there.
ALSO, set up for Venom?? That was such a good idea! At least, I believe it was supposed to be a set up...
Ah right, the shoddy SFX... there are a few scenes towards the end, especially with Thor that looked so cheap. It was strange.
Anyway, I can't give it a 10 because of those shoddy graphics, and there was too much GotG.

Who knew finding an alien life form on another planet wasn't going to end badly. Well I would think everyone. I like that they also told the whole world that they found it too, and they gave it a name. If you know anything about finding an animal, once you give it a name its harder to let it go. The other problem is if it does get to earth an cause chaos now you know who to blame.
This movie was just like every other alien movie out there. I don't think I saw one surprise the whole time. The end was sort of, but you could have seen it coming. The one thing that I did like was the alien itself. How it grew, how it fed and how smart it was. Usually you don't get that from a alien movie. Its mostly seek and destroy.
The acting was just ok. For the cast that was chosen I think it could have been better. Also I thought there should have been a love story with a couple crew members, it would have added a little more drama. I also think if you send a team to space they really should have all been on the same page with firewalls.
I liked the graphics and the CGI. The way it was filmed was cool too. Being able to film the whole movie with it looking like they were in space was great. I thought you could totally believe they were floating around.
I think this movie could totally have a sequel if they do it correctly. Because they include the Earth at the beginning of the movie, I think it would be cool to find out what happened.
As far as alien movies go, it wasn't the worst. It was entertaining. I would say if you are looking for something sci-fi to watch or you just like the cast, go for it. As always, enjoy the show.

How interesting does this book sound!?! The blurb definitely caught my attention, and I'm glad it did because I loved this book!!
I think the title suits this book. It's about the main character losing who she thought she was, so I think it suits the book just fine.
I'm usually not a big fan of just sticking a girl on the cover of a book, but with Losing Francesca, it works. I think if it had much more than Francesca on the cover, it'd be too cluttered.
I found the world building to written quite well for the most part! It was easy to slip into Francesca's shoes and feel exactly what she was feeling. The only part I didn't like was the insta-love between Francesca and Brody. It just didn't feel that believable. Also, I felt as if Francesca accepted her new life too quickly. She didn't act nervous or scared enough, I felt. However, saying that, I've never been in that situation, so I can't pass judgement too much.
The pacing is absolutely fantastic in this book! I usually only read ebooks at night while I'm laying down, but with Losing Francesca, I was reading this book at all times. I couldn't wait to read about what would happen next. This book definitely held my attention.
I really enjoyed the whole plot. I found it to be original and interesting. I like the idea of a girl that was kidnapped being recognized as the child who went missing years ago. I wanted to see what it'd be like. There aren't really any plot twists in this book, but that doesn't take away from how good it is.
I didn't really like the character of Francesca until towards the end. She came across as being a snobby rich girl. Even when she was with Brody and had stopped with the whole rich girl act, she still seemed like she was bragging about how rich her family is. To me, she was too spoiled and too much of a show-off. However, I did start liking her towards the end. I did like Brody. I loved his determination and his never give up attitude. Although he used to be a bit of a bad boy, he came across as a gentleman.
The thing that annoyed me with the dialogue is that the swearing seemed too over the top. Brody swears a lot, and most of the time, the swearing seems forced and fake. It doesn't come across as natural because Brody does it too much. And it wasn't just Brody. Some of the other teenagers swore as well, and it didn't come across as natural. Other than the unnatural swearing, the dialogue was quite enjoyable. We get point of views from Francesca and Brody which was quite enjoyable to read. I enjoyed reading Francesca's point of view the best.
Overall, Losing Francesca by J.A. Huss was a super good read! There were a few problems, but those were easy to overlook with how great the book was!
I'd recommend this book to those aged 17+ who are after an interesting and sweet read. I'm only recommending it from age 17+ due to the language (which there is a lot of swearing). Otherwise, this would've been a 14+.
I'd give Losing Francesca by J.A. Huss a 4.5 out of 5.

I'm only giving this movie a 9, because I've honestly seen the same story line in dozens of movies. AND, I felt like the previews gave way too much away.
But, although the story was predictable, it was still very well done. The afro-futurism was so amazing, the costumes were so good, and I loved that they brought in all sorts of different cultures on the continent to Wakanda.
The cast did a brilliant job, and I loved that the warriors were women.
Now, Killmonger: Micheal B Jordan did a fantastic job with the villain. This villain was one of the better ones in the MCU, in a sea of generic villains (Loki excluded). Killmonger (as well as Loki) was a sympathetic (IMO) villain, there was a reason for his fall into villainy, being a product of his circumstances. You understood where he was coming from, and damn, his last line was intense.
Now: Martin Freeman and Andy Serkis. I had a major Hobbit flashback when Ross went to Klaue, I was half-hoping they were fixin to have a riddle-off.

scarily realistic but futuristic novel
I have always loved Dean Koontz because of the way he immerses you in the situations in his book. Its not many authors that make you feel as if you are actually in the book not just reading it. Loved this book because whilst it is a work of fiction there are a lot of instances that ring true, particularly the way we are giving AI too much power and information. At first glance this is just your run of the mill horror house novel, but once you get into it, its so much more. Great character and development and i love the way that he does not concentrate on just one persons story. There are lots of different characters ranging from a small girl with autism to a contract killer and its blended in well to create an atmospheric, horrific and frightening novel. Its split into two books and i must admit that when i was about half way through i thought it was drawing to a close, how wrong i was. Well worth a read A++++

I give it 3.5 stars but since we can't do halves I decided to round down to 3. While I ultimately enjoyed the book, it didn't quite live up to my expectations and I struggled to get thru it. The first third or so was good, it grabbed and held my interest, but after that I found myself thinking about what else to read. Because I had seen crosstalk on so many lists of can't miss book releases and the fact that I had been looking forward to it for so long I decided to stick it out and I'm glad I did. The last third of the story was great, it helped to redeem the slow parts. The middle seemed bogged down with too much unnecessary detail and no real action. Overall the plot was original but there were no real surprises, the twists were far too predictable. I also think it could have been 100 pages shorter without impacting the story. The ending left open the possibility of a sequel and I hope the author makes use of that, I would like to see what happens with maeve and the rest of briddeys family.

I'm very disappointed with this! After hearing of it for so long and from a big Stephen King fan, I couldn't believe how poor this is! Looking very dated, thought it was an early 70's film not mid 80's! It's drawn out way too long even at 90mins. It's not scary, just weird. There was a re-make recently not to mention 7 sequels!! Hopefully they are a lot better!

Really liked this book..
Dont generally read this genre of books they have to really peak my interest for me to want too buy this genre - i read the back and the bits that are saying what other authors think of it and i thought i'd give it a go.
Alot of people were going on about the end and i was sceptical like it cant be hard too figure out but omg was i wrong, this book takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions. You follow 3 people and you dont know whose side to be on or who to feel sorry for.
Its a really easy read, it doesnt take long to get into and i personally couldnt put it down though the end is a bit far fetched to some people it fits in keeping with the book and it really made me think, and makes you want to read the book again to see if anytging pops out now you do know. it was so hard after because i had no one too discuss this with and i really wanted too.
