OK, so 8 days later ( there should be a clue there) and I'm finally finished. Francine Lasala is a great writer with an amazing imagination but i really struggled with this book and until i got about half way, i even toyed with the idea of not finishing it, only my need to know what the hell was going on with Mina and who's real and who's not made me continue. I feel really awful not liking the book because so many people have loved it, but sadly its not for me

Well Written Characters

The Joy of Amy Tan

I've never read a novel that's inspired such emotion as Amy Tan's The Joy Luck Club has. Tan has created some of the most gorgeous characters I've ever been introduced to, and the way she writes allows every reader to have a vivid image of the places she describes. Every little detail fuels more and more imagination. Not only is the book a MUST READ but Amy Tan is definitely one of the greatest authors I've ever read from.

To date Maria V Snyder has 9 books in the chronicles of Ixia and they are truly spectacular. It starts off with this one, and if highly suggest buying her books in sets of three, as I can guarantee you'd want the next one immediately.
The pure creativity, imagination and plot twists and nothing sort of genius. They keep you wondering and guessing what is going to happen next.
These books are my friends, they have supported me through a lot in my life.
