The movie revolves around one hotel room over the case of several decades, from its inaugural tenants, to a chilling scenario on New Year's Eve of the new millennium. A masterpiece from Canada which is a rare find but totally worth it.

Rolling Stone's 494th greatest album of all time
"Time to Pretend" is an amazing start to this album. Such an uplifting anthem.
The next couple of songs are forgettable Bowie-esque songs. Nothing wrong with them but nothing stands out about them.
"Electric Feel" is a good indie Scissor Sisters song, but is instantly forgotten as soon as "Kids" comes on. That is such a thumping anthem as well.
Sadly thereafter it is back to forgettable, Bowie-esque ditties. Some of these remind me of Liam Lynch's album of generally nonsense pop songs.

"I like that it’s very similar to Slammin’ Salmon, in the sense that it takes place all in one place. That’s what I loved about that movie. It’s so interesting the way they made it dynamic, and not boring, and it’s all in this one warehouse. I really loved that about it. It’s cheaper to shoot an indie film that way; what, did they make that for $2 million bucks or something like that? So it allows you to do a little bit more with the dialogue and characters."
