"I just thought the tone and the feel of that movie — the way it sort of characterized small people in such small ways — it gave you so much information about them. It was so brilliantly done. As well as the struggle and the performance from the characters was incredible. Marion Cotillard, I thought, was robbed from an Academy Award. I thought she was just amazing in that. The story was so different and interesting. I just thought everything about it was really good. It just tapped into every single emotion that you had, went through the whole wheelhouse. I just loved it."

A thriller I never got around to seeing back at the time. It starts well enough with 2 young kids going to live with their guardians after their parents are in an accident. Although are their guardians as nice as they think they are? It starts to unravel quite well with new bits of information being discovered, quite an intricate web of deceit. Just as it all builds up towards the finale it has an ending that feels rather rushed and not fitting the rest of the film. Could have been better. Currently on Amazon prime.

So I've been reading this for a week now and I'm not feeling it, which is a disappointment considering i quite enjoyed the first one.

DNF @63%

I think it's the fact that between book 1 and this, it appears I've missed out on quite a lot of stuff. NOTE: It needs to be read in the recommended reading order, not just in the series' order or you miss out on important information

I've struggled along up to here but because I've missed important things, i just can't be bothered to try and understand what's happening. Therefore I'm finally throwing the towel in.

The Unlikely Duo
The In-Laws- is a funny entertaing film. Both Micheal Douglas and Albert Brooks are really good in it.

The plot: Dr. Jerry Peyser's (Albert Brooks) daughter, Melissa (Lindsay Sloane), is about to marry Mark Tobias (Ryan Reynolds). Things are going swimmingly until Jerry stumbles across some secret information: Mark's father, Steve (Michael Douglas), is a CIA operative. Fearing that Jerry will compromise his current assignment if he starts blabbing to authorities, Steve dragoons Jerry into assisting with an intercontinental mission that involves a dangerous criminal, Jean-Pierre Thibodoux (David Suchet).

Its a good film.

Epic
Perfection. Long movie, but wish it was longer. Wish there were more deleted scenes. When i watched this movie, there was still no information that fans were getting Hobbit movies, so this really felt like an end to a very captivating journey. I literally felt empty. Throughout the movies, i felt like i was right there, with our favorite characters, on a journey. There were tears and there were smiles. Beautiful scenery where it all was filmed was mesmerizing. And i'm sure that the ending made everyone cry. I wish this journey didn't end, it was too good.
