Notoriously Good
I have grown up hearing Ruth Bader Ginsburg's name but I have never thought to look her up until she became Tumblr & facebook famous. I've been wanting to read this book ever since I knew of its existence. I just never made the time and whenever an audible credit came available I would find something else to purchase instead. Needless to say, when this audiobook was on sale on Audible I knew it was finally time to buy it.

Notorious RBG is a truly wonderful book. I never knew what Ruth Bader Ginsburg did for women until this book. She really is an inspiration. Learning about RBG was a wild ride. The things this woman has gone through is truly inspirational and I loved how much she has accomplished in her life. Reading this book inspired me to be more. I loved some of the lessons that were told and it shows how important it can be to meet in the middle and still show respect when you hold differing opinions.

All in all, if you're looking for a good biography on an inspirational woman this is the book for you.

Wonderful
This story is one that sticks with you, I feel a different way every time I watch it and not many stories do that, this is based on the real life of a real man who got to love his dream, it is inspiring, thoughtful and powerful despite the debates of Christopher being a spoilt rich kid, he really does see life in a way that most can only dream of and that makes the impact of the movie all the more great.

I think my problem with this book was that I watched the movie first and I didn't realize how different the book was from the movie. This is my best friend's and my favorite movie and we have seen it at least half a dozen times. One of the reasons I loved the movie was for the humor and upbeat, inspirational tone that it had. The book really lacked that and that was something that really disappointed me. Probably if I had read it without those expectations, I may have enjoyed it more.

Moana (2016)
Moana (2016)
2016 | Adventure, Animation, Comedy
As well as horror I also love Disney movies.
Moana involves one impulse driven chieftains daughter trying to defeat a curse brought about by the Demi God Maui when he removed something he shouldn't have. It's Moana's role to get Maui and restore what he took.
For Disney the songs are as always catchy and Moana's song How Far I'll Go is so uplifting and inspirational, Maui's song Your Welcome shows that The Rock can sing, villan Tamanota also gets Shiny.
Animation is great, voice cast is excellent.
The chicken is amazing.

All About Eve (1950)

"All About Eve. Bette Davis is just extraordinary in that film. I can’t really give more insight; it’s just an incredible movie and, I think, incredibly evolved for its time. I think with any good performance, it’s inspirational in some way. I just think it’s an amazing movie. You know, it’s hard for movies to last, and there’s something really timeless about that story and the performances. There’s something really modern about — and really antiquated as well — but it’s just, I think, a really powerful film and performance."

Life’s Captivity is inspirational and encouraging. The writing is lyric and rhythmic, and the pacing is relaxed enough to be calm, but fast enough to keep you interested. It is very comforting and uplifting, and a beautiful picture of how Christ works in our lives to make us more beautiful, to bring the lost to Him, and to glorify Himself.
Content: There was some language in certain parts of the book, because of the character who was speaking. I found it appropriate for the situation.
Recommendation: Ages 14+

"I love this film and can watch it over and over. Hal Ashby is one of my favorite filmmakers. Both the lead characters are so unique and their pairing even more so. The thing that I love about it the most is Maude’s incredible sense of freedom and her direct influence on Harold. Death awaits us all, and it’s easy to shrink in that knowledge, but she teaches him to embrace life and be himself and choose to be positive and open. Their connection is so lovely and inspirational. This film tackles life, death, and everything in between in the most entertaining way."

What an inspirational book!

I had actually never read a biography before, so this was a very different genre to what I'm used to.
As I started reading I wasn't sure if this book was really for me.

In the early days, during Katie's goal of reaching the dizzying heights of fame, she came across as a self-absorbed and not very likable person.

As you progress along the journey with Katie and you suddenly reach the day where her life is flipped upside down you wish you could take back all your negative thoughts for her former-self.

From the second the attack happens, you really feel for the poor girl. You follow along with her during her initial moments in the hospital, how her life is in the doctors hands and all the harrowing and life altering procedures she has to endure on this journey to recovery.

The book is traumatising and inspirational in equal measures. Katie shows us how strong and positive an individual can be, even in the darkest of situations that life can throw at you.

After suffering panic attacks earlier this year myself, I decided to buy this book. It definitely put everything into perspective for me and has helped me try and carry on and find an inner strength I previously was unaware of.

This book was just what I was needing. I have been reading many dark and depressing novels so when I had a chance to read this book, I knew it was fate. Life in the Sloth Lane is a book that has adorable sloths and some good inspirational quotes. It was almost like I wasmeditating when I was reading. It calmed me down, made me smile and I even learned new facts about sloths.

If you enjoy sloths, need some time just to breathe, and like learning something new, this is the book for you. Seriously, it is adorable.

A Very Blessed Christmas Coloring Book by Robin Mead brings scripture into coloring, while allowing me to color in a relaxed quite moment.

The images are a mix of secular and religious, all related to the Christmas season. There are some beautiful Biblical quotes related to the season too, surrounded by artwork to color.

This book has a section for Christmas crafts such as cutouts to make ornaments, bookmarks or even gift tags. I love that this coloring book is unique and is perfect for everyone. It is inspirational, filled with beautiful pictures of angels, snowflakes, trees, stocking, nativity and so much more.

I received this book from FaithWords via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
