I re-watched this film the other day, and I forgot how much I loved it. I won't compare it to the book, since Anne Rice was responsible for the script and helped with production.
The cast in this was strong, and did alright with the characters. I actually liked pre-couch-jumping Tom Cruise in it, though I will not mind when Lestat is taken over by someone else for the newly announced Vampire Chronicles/Mayfair Witches AMC project. The accents are kind of whack, but you can easily ignore that part.

The DVD I have shows a little pre-movie interview with some of the actors, the director, and Rice herself, and talks about how you're fixin to watch a movie about the most depressing vampires you've ever heard of. That made me laugh.

This is definitely a classic vampire movie.

Ties in to the Resident Evil games time line
Excellent animation
A very good CGI animated film with a great level of detail, really makes it realistic as possible. They even used motion capture for the characters in the film for greater realism. At last a Resident Evil film that does tie in with the games! Bringing Claire Redfield and Leon S.Kennedy back together for more Zombie mayhem. Set 7 years after the Resident Evil 2 game where Racoon City was nuked and in the time line of the games after Resi Evil 4 and before 5. The story plot is simple but this is really like watching a playback of playing the game. If your a Resident Evil fan you will love this. The DVD also has tons of extras, making of, Leon interview, Resident Evil 5 footage plenty to entertain you.

Amazing to have
The Kindle App allows you to connect your device to your Amazon account, which in turn, allows you to read from your digital library anywhere. I have the app on my phone, laptop and I do have a Kindle itself. I used it everywhere, from doctor appointments, to interview waiting rooms, to just at home. It is light weight and you never have to worry about carrying an extra book with you in case you finish the one you are on currently I find this app to be the most used application I own besides Goodreads. I suggest all avid book readers getting the Amazon Kindle app. After all, you never know when your Kindle might die, or when a good opportunity arises for you to sink your teeth into that good book you are reading.

Mrs. Doubtfire (1993)
Mrs. Doubtfire (1993)
1993 | Comedy, Drama, Family
Mrs Doubtfire is a classic comedy about a child at heart father whose antics continuously irritate his wife until it becomes too much, ending in divorce.
Struggling with post marriage life and keeping to an agreement to see his kids, results in Daniel (Williams) going to drastic measures to make amends (unknown by the ex).
With obstacles including an awkward job interview, a social worker and the ex's new fella, this man must learn to be a woman, with the creation of the brilliant and hilariously unpredictable mrs Doubtfire.
Mrs Doubtfire is an hilarious take on a father's over the top attempt of being a part of his children's lives. With great comedy and non stop laughs this movie will pull at your heartstrings.
Starring Sally Field, Pierce Brosnan and the late great comedy legend, Robin Williams. It is a heart warming family film for all ages.
