Jackie Chan still has it
This political action thriller was VERY entertaining. I've been a Jackie Chan fan from his earliest works and he's only gotten better over the years. This one has plenty of his signature action(though less comedic, more serious) matched with a very intense story line about justice being served. If you're into crime thrillers, you'll enjoy this one. Really worth a watch!

Just finished watching and I found it very funny action movie some good stunts performed by Jackie Chan he amazes me how he's still able to act even walk the amount of injuries he has had over the years.abd there's Johnny Knoxville from jackass who gets plenty's of laughs in my favourite part is the bloopers at the end credits which are always in Jackie's movie

I saw this over Christmas a few years ago. It's a good family adventure film with a lot of comic moments. Jackie Chan steals the show with his stunts as usual.

Is this the best Jackie Chan movie?
First off I just want to say this was a blu ray I again paid just ÂŁ1 for and it is definatly worth it. As far as Jackie Chan movies go it is 1 of the lesser known in my opinion. I had never heard of this movie, it was pure luck I came across it and I'm glad I did.
It is probably not in the top 5 of the best Jackie Chan movies but it is still great. Not sure if it is just me but in some ways it reminded me of the sorcerer's apprentice, it had that tone.
The fight scenes were well choreographed. Jackie Chan and jet li do what they do best and the acting was good. Obviously with this kind of movie you have to ignore all ideas of believability (learning Kung Fu should not be that quick) and just have a good time with it.
The plot was predictable, especially the ending but getting there was fun. The legend of the monkey king was interesting. That part kinda reminded me of avatar the last airbender and the monkey king did annoy me at times but that was the character. He was meant to have some monkey characteristics.
If you like Jackie Chan, jet li, martial arts mixed with fantasy then you will enjoy it. I feel it is a movie I can watch again.

Easy-going martial arts Jackie Chan/Owen Wilson (and Lucy Liu) film, with Chan portraying the party of a Chinese Forbidden City Imperial Guard soldier who travels to the Wild West of America to rescue the kidnapped Princess Pei Pei (Lucy Liu), and falls in with outlaw Roy O'Bannon (Wilson) along the way.
As a Jackie Chan film, you pretty much know what to expect: lots of martial arts slapstick in his own inimitable style (and pidgin English, which is still a lot better than my non-existent Chinese!) and a few 'that's a terrible name for a cowboy' puns along the way!

A great Thai film starring Tony Ja, the next Jackie Chan. It has some great Thai kickboxing matches against opponents using a variety of fighting techniques. Plenty of action and stunts. Just a pity the voice over acting is so cheesey!
Movie Critics (823 KP) rated The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature (2017) in Movies

The Nut Job 2 isn’t atrocious, however, most glaringly it suffers from a case of being forgettable. Besides a decent cameo from Jackie Chan as a mouse who is a martial arts expert, the animation does not offer anything unique
