James Gunn hits another one out of the park. Funny as the original and surprisingly poignant, with Michael Rooker's Yondu stealing the show.

I loved this film!

X-Men: Apocalypse (2016)
X-Men: Apocalypse (2016)
2016 | Action, Sci-Fi
This movie was a complete mess. The plot was all over the place, and they kind of wasted Oscar Isaac. I always love James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender together, but there was close to nil of that action. Michael Fassbender seemed like he hated life all throughout it.
Also, I'm really tired of Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique. Can we please get some clothing for Mystique? I find it really strange that she has clothing in comics but close to none in the movies.

Phil Marriott and Raj Rudolph aka Boys On Film review "Beast", a gripping drama directed by Michael Pearce and starring Jessie Buckley, Johnny Flynn and Geraldine James.

A troubled woman living in an isolated community finds herself pulled between the control of her oppressive family and the allure of a secretive outsider suspected of a series of brutal murders.

This is definitely my favorite X-Men movie, though, I am total trash for anything with James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender. They both did well as Professor X and Magneto. Personally, vengeful Magneto is my favorite Magneto. I liked the vibe, and the story line. Hugh Jackman's cameo was hilarious. Kevin Bacon was excellent as the villain. The only thing I can live without is another film where they don't give Mystique clothing.

Watched today before I watched the film I have admit I've only watched the first two episodes of the sopranos to my shame one day I will watch the show in full. On to the movie its okay film no different to other gangster type movies I've seen I thought according to the trailer it would be about Tony soprano when he was younger its not its more about Alessandro nivolas character than Tony anyway got to mention Michael gandolfini who plays the Young Tony who is the spitting image of his dad james star in the making overall needed more Tony soprano then ubwould have better movie

After Kingsman: The Secret Service director Matthew Vaughn left X-Men: The Last Stand because of its rushed production schedule, Fox decided to bring him back to direct this reboot of the series. Things worked well overall, though the introduction of James McAvoy as Professor X did draw some criticism. Michael Fassbender’s role as young Magneto went down very well but fans still missed the original actors. The film was nicely paced but without a compelling villain, the overall script suffered.

"Like Melville, Michael Mann is a master of silent storytelling, but he is also one of the best writers of dialogue I know. There’s a scene between James Caan and Tuesday Weld in a diner that goes on for ten minutes, but you never get bored for a second. They go from being virtual strangers to lovers in the course of a conversation, and you don’t question it. Not only do his criminals feel authentic when they talk about their profession but their inarticulate attempts at declaring their love feel just as true."

Entry #14 in James Rollins now long-running Sigma Force series; again a mixture of science and fiction: think Dan Brown, maybe, or even Michael Crichton.

This time around, the threat that Sigma force (and, perforce, the world) faces is one of our own making: that of Artificial Intelligence (or AI), and - more specifically - that of an 'evil' (one with no moral qualms or compunctions) AI let loose. So, think Terminator's Skynet, basically.

If you've read any of the previous entries in the series, you know pretty much what to expect ...
