I know the author says in the back that this is meant as an 'entertainment' and that she has changed some things around for her own convenience, but really! So many of the characters were really not plausible and very one dimensional and situations just plain unbelievable. Jane Seymour having an torrid affair with a workman really was beyond the pale - I was disappointed that Erickson didn't come up with an explanation for Jane to make to Henry regarding her loss of virginity. One of the silliest books I have read!
