GameCritics (290 KP) rated Sonic the Hedgehog in Video Games
Jul 14, 2017
Sonic the Hedgehog is a mess. While there are a few glimmers of hope early on when players take control of Silver and his cool telekinesis ability, it's quickly realized that the game's design never really capitalizes on it.

combines a gripping narrative with intense action that blends both fast-paced combat with slower-paced, tense stealth sections perfectly. Everything about their vision for this game clicks into place and is accentuated by a stellar presentation.

Whats The Difference Between Us
Dead Ringers- is a decent movie, its the last movie david cronenberg did in the 80's. So his 80's streak ending on a low ball/a dispointment. I really liked Jeremy Irons he was really good. And the psychological espect was good as well. Other than that it was a okay movie.
The Plot: Elliot (Jeremy Irons), a successful gynecologist, works at the same practice as his identical twin, Beverly (also Irons). Elliot is attracted to many of his patients and has affairs with them. When he inevitably loses interest, he will give the woman over to Beverly, the meeker of the two, without the woman knowing the difference. Beverly falls hard for one of the patients, Claire (Geneviève Bujold), but when she inadvertently deceives him, he slips into a state of madness.
In his DVD commentary, Irons claims that Robert De Niro declined playing the Mantles due to his unease with the subject matter and portraying gynecologists, while William Hurt decided to reject the parts because "it is hard enough to play one role".
Irons was given two different dressing rooms with two sets of costumes for playing his two characters. However, given the fact that he said "the whole point of the story is you should sometimes be confused as to which is which", he chose to use only one of the rooms and combine different costume items intended for different characters. Irons also developed an "internal way" to portray each character, employing the Alexander technique for "different energy points", giving each character his own appearance.
Like i said before the psychological espect is good in this. Jeremy Irons was excellent. I wouldnt really recordmend this film, rather davids other 80's films instead.

Merissa (11758 KP) rated Wolves Always Bite (Willow Lake Supernaturals #2) in Books
Nov 1, 2023
WOLVES ALWAYS BITE is the second book in the Willow Lake Supernaturals series and I was certainly looking forward to this one.
I got more than I bargained for with Jeremy though, I have to admit. He is a great character but, oh man, it's hard sometimes to keep up with him! His mind goes off in a multitude of tangents at any given time!
Adrian is the grounding he needs. The big bad wolf man (Jeremy's words!) is such a softie, although he does hurt Jeremy at one point. I found it understandable and loved his reaction once he realised what he had done.
There is more to Jeremy than meets the eye and I loved his arc. There are a whole host of repeating characters, as well as new ones. I'm hard-pressed to think of which one I need most. I think I'll just sit back and wait for whoever it is and thoroughly enjoy it no matter what!
A great read but I do recommend you read them in order because of repeating characters.

GameCritics (290 KP) rated Super Lucky's Tale in Video Games
Nov 6, 2017
Super Lucky’s Tale is a fine 3D platformer. It blends in more types of platforming than most entries in the genre and keeps the collect-a-thon to a minimum. The core of the game is platforming and that keeps the pace of the action fairly fast.

The Lion King- such a classic. Its perfect, amazing, fantasic and phenomenal and than thier just had to remake last year, live action style because of $$$ and have beyonce voice one of the charcters and have a second soundtrack with rap stars??? Anyways, the songs are so excellent, you have... "Circle of Life", "I Just Cant Wait to be King", "Be Perpared", "Hakuna Matata" and "Can't You Feel The Love Tonight".
The plot: This Disney animated feature follows the adventures of the young lion Simba (Jonathan Taylor Thomas), the heir of his father, Mufasa (James Earl Jones).
