Been awhile since I last watched the movie probably 25 years but since it’s on Disney plus time to watch again still as funny as when I last watched it both cusack and driver are the best part of the movie and it doesn’t hurt to have cool 80s soundtrack

"Here you have John and Joan Cusack playing on-screen siblings. It’s a smaller relationship in the film, but the authenticity of their dynamic always stuck with me. Watch this one again just to see these two at their best."

"The fact that John Cusack climbing into someone else’s brain can be completely described in forty-five seconds of dialogue without ever seeming particularly implausible is a testament to how well this movie is written. It’s just a totally immersive experience."

"A midget-sized floor in an office building is something that is possible. John Cusack doing puppetry and Cameron Diaz looking frumpy and taking care of monkeys are possible. A portal to a person’s mind is possible. This kind of limitless potential is what makes films magical."

A wonderfully quirky movie about Love and Ex's in a Musical World. (with Patchouli Stink and ponytails)
have you ever gone through a break up... this movie feels like a breakup in the best possible way. It's funny absurd and yet still has the right amount of heart. Kinda like a love song.... worthy of the time, unlike most of my ex's....

here's an alternate movie poster.

Old school Thriller
A good Thriller as Morgan Freeman playing an assassin escapes police custody. In the wilderness John Cusack and his son are on a camping trip and find him. Meanwhile Freeman's team are in pursuit.
A good chase thriller set in the wild with a cat and mouse plot to see who can evade who and survive. Might still be on Netflix currently.

Being John Malkovich (1999)
1999 | Comedy, Drama, Sci-Fi

"Being John Malkovich mashes different genres and spins everything on its head. Spike Jonze tends to do that — he’s got his own unique take on the world and I love it. He’s probably the number one director that I would love to work with. Charlie Kaufman is one of my favorite writers too. John Cusack is so good in that movie — just so sad but yet so funny — and Cameron Diaz killed it in that role too. That’s my favorite of hers. The fact that Malkovich even agreed to do the movie is such a fun element within itself. It works on many levels."

"Say Anything is just such a sweet coming-of-age movie. I just love everything about it: the romance, the comedy, the time period, the music, and the chemistry between the two lead characters. This movie was the beginning of a lot of great careers. The image of John Cusack and the Peter Gabriel song “In Your Eyes” is just so iconic. And Cameron Crowe is my favorite director of all time. If there were a sixth favorite film, it would have been Almost Famous."

The Room
1408- is a excellent psychological horror movie that is very underrated. It has suspense, thrills, chills, horror, terror, and more.

The plot: Mike Enslin (John Cusack) is a successful author who enjoys worldwide acclaim debunking supernatural phenomena -- before he checks into the Dolphin Hotel, that is. Ignoring the warnings of the hotel manager (Samuel L. Jackson), he learns the meaning of real terror when he spends the night in a reputedly haunted room.

Like i said before it is a excellent movie. It will twist and turn your mind.

I would highly reccordmend this movie.

John.... Sam.... Stephen.... What could go wrong??
Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages... Well... Not all... Kids should definitely not watch this one.
John Cusack stars as a writer who specializes in debunking alleged haunted locations.
He heads into the city to stay at the famed Dolphin Hotel. One room has had more deaths in it since the place cracked its doors nearly 100 years before.
The writer heads in with a skeptics attitude. But within minutes his attitude changes. And so does the viewers.
Sam Jackson is phenomenal as the manager of the hotel... All but climbs inside Cusacks head and fills him full of personal doubt and failure.
What follows is one helluva roller coaster ride that takes you from the past to the present to all points in between.
And just when you think you have it figured out... The room turns on you and tries to swallow your soul whole.
King left an easy road map to follow for a successful film. And the crew took the ball and ran through the defense for the easy score.
A good little film that leaves you impressed and amazed... All be it a little bored during the second act. But the climax is worth the payoff.
Talk about your mind fucking psychology damaging portions of the ending.
Good job ladies and gentlemen... You left me sasified
