Everything about this movie was done well. The character development was exceptional! I was left wanting to see more of each character in something going forward, and that doesn't happen very often.
I knew going in that this was a Jonah Hill film and I wasn't really sure what to expect from that. However, I was pleasantly surprised.
Definitely a fun romp that will bring back some great memories if you grew up in the 90's.

I kickflipped out of the wheelchair, after watching Don't Worry He Won't Get Far on Foot, onto a skateboard and rolled into Mid 90's; written and directed by Jonah Hill. A great snapshot of a kid in the 90's who is at that age where you're really finding yourself. We follow Stevie a.k.a. Sunburn who, in an effort to escape his life at home, befriends some guys at the local skate shop and finds a love for skateboarding and his newfound brotherhood.

This brought back memories
Damn. I skated in the 90s and listened to hip hop this was me. Absolutely corker of a film from Jonah Hill, a kid meets a crowd of skaters deemed the wrong crowd but they help him in his transformation from kid to teen but are his heroes delinquent from their own trauma rather than just being cool?
Everything from the soundtrack to the direction is spot on. I loved it.

This is truly one of the best, and most beautiful shows ever created. Jonah Hill and Emma Stone both step into roles outside of their respective "wheel houses" and completely nailed it in both cases.
Approaching mental health in film has proven a difficult task in the past, with some exception of course. But I've never seen it done so beautifully and with such a seeming of understanding.
I believe that this show is the best sci fi show Netflix has produced, possibly the best show it has produced overall. Please don't sleep on this one. It starts slow, but you won't be able to look away after a bit.

Blake Griffin recommended Superbad (2007) in Movies (curated)
The first four episodes are confusing. You really have to hang in there and pay attention in order for it all to come together. This definitely isn't a show you can multitask during. I only say this is a negative to make sure people understand it's a show (1 more)
WORTH paying attention to. So if you don't have the time or ability to pay attention to it, I would wait until you do.
