A journal in which you are given different activities to improve your happiness.
I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book so I could give an honest review.

The setup of Press Here! Acupressure for Beginners: How to Release and Balance Energy Flow by Bob Doto reminded me of the setup of Press Here! Massage for Beginners: A Simple Route to Relaxation and Releasing Tension by Rachel Beider. They both have colorful illustrations to highlight different parts of the body. They show different techniques for specific issues or different parts of the body. Both also show how to work on others and on yourself. Both are written for beginners but include beneficial information for those who are familiar with the activities.

I have always been interested in Acupuncture but have not experienced it. When I heard about Acupressure I was intrigued. I suffer from Sinusitis and other issues which this book focuses on. I am attempting to relieve some on the pain and, hopefully, to save money on doctor's visit.

I had difficulty reading the ebook. The print was small and, when zoomed in, the page would go blank. I eventually took a screenshots so I could zoom in to make the print large enough to read comfortably. Some of the fonts were blurry even when not zoomed it. However, the information I learned was worth the hassle.

I loved this edition of Dracula. Though I have not finished the novel itself, I have friends who have and they assured me that this does not leave much out.

The story itself was quite interesting. As one of the first full vampire novels, I can see how others have drawn inspiration from this book.

There were parts that I was not a fan of, that felt rushed, but as these are journal entries and letters, there would not be the drawn out narratives that would be there were it someone's novel.

The art was very well done. I loved the color uses and the playing with shadows to make it seem more foreboding. It was beautiful.

That being said, in this particular edition, some of the text was difficult to see. Because the artists were differentiating the writers by color and font, this made some of the combinations difficult to read. In particular, I found it difficult to read Mina's writing. Since it was pink on pink with a cursive type font, everything looked jumbled together and was just, in general, difficult to read.

That is the main reason I gave it two stars off, though I actually give this book a 3.5. I liked the story and I am excited to actually pick up and read the full novel, hopefully soon, to see if I can mark the differences between the two.

Jerry Grey is currently living in an elder care facility and suffering from Alzheimer's Disease, which would be bad enough except that he is convinced that he murdered a girl many years ago and is continually trying to confess to it. The problem with that though, is that he was a best-selling crime novelist and the murder to which he keeps confessing mirrors a plot point from one of his books, so no one believes him. Maybe they're right, and it's just the disease making him think that he did kill her, but evidence keeps appearing that makes him think that it's true, and that somehow he is continuing to commit murders. Or someone is trying to trick him into believing he is. Luckily, he had been keeping a journal of his life with Alzheimer's which should help to make sense of everything. Now if he could just remember where he put it. The first half of this book was perhaps a little light on suspense, and instead seemed to deal with the horror of Alzheimer's and dementia in and of themselves, which are quite frightening. Once the twists start coming however, things move at a breakneck pace, and there are plenty of surprising developments to be had. Aside from a few slightly weak moments, this is one hell of a story and a pretty great suspense yarn for the Halloween season.

Layla Kardan is an Iranian-rooted pop star living in the United Arab Emirates. Arwa Al Banawi is one of Saudi Arabia’s most exciting and upcoming fashion designers. Not too long ago, they collaborated on a music video for Kardan’s “The Suitable Woman” single.

“‘The Suitable Woman’ is the slogan of my label and celebrates the woman on the go. Also, a woman who fights for her beliefs and proactively chases her dreams to realize her fullest potential.” – Arwa Al Banawi

Layla Kardan is focused on changing the perception of a woman’s role in society and pushing for gender equality. Also, her aim is to educate both Middle Eastern and Western audiences.

Collaborating with production company D Journal, the pair have produced a fashion-forward, edgy video. The audiovisual features some of the region’s biggest fashion influencers such as Rania Fawaz, Zeynab El Helw, Jory Al Maiman, and Tamara Al Gabbani.

“Arwa’s brand is all about being a bold and expressive woman who is not hindered by fear or limitations. These are women who pursue the things they are passionate about despite the challenges and persevere to see their dreams become a reality. Also, they are not deterred by the social expectations from them.”

The likable tune contains a relatable storyline and smoky soul vocals. Also, the song possesses mellow instrumentation scented with a contemporary R&B fragrance.
