When we first meet Julia, she's not very likeable and a cheap hooker to make ends meet. Whilst out doing her duties she is kidnapped by a crazy scientist wanting humans to experiment with. She wakes up in a prison like room, mask on her face, hands tied and a chip in her neck but she's not alone. She befriends 2 prisoners who are also in there with her and they manage to escape into a house which is run by a seemingly evil AI, this AI kills her newly made friends but just as she is about to be killed, the scientist which kidnapped her comes home and calls off the AI which we find out is called TAU. The scientist decides to keep Julia alive in exchange for her doing daily tasks for him, after setting some ground rules Julia reluctantly agrees. Every day whilst the scientist is out of the house Julia speaks to TAU and they build up a strange but nice friendship between human and computer, you get drawn into their friendship and almost wish TAU was human as their bond is so strong. What we thought was just a killer computer was infact just a lost little soul who doesn't know anything outside the house and thinks he must obey his creator. It reminds me a little of the Simpsons episode when the AI house tries to kill the Simpsons, except in this movie the AI is learning to become his own person.
Very fascinating movie if I do say so myself.

Hilary’s lack of activity has gotten her in trouble with Captain Blacktooth, and if she wants to retain her title as a pirate, she needs to go on a big quest. When her friend Miss Pimm is kidnapped, she decides to find her. However, is that a quest that Blacktooth will approve?

The plot was a little slow in this one, especially in the middle. The characters were still wonderful, and the humor I loved from the first book was still all over the book as well. Fans of the first will be glad to spend more time with Hilary and her friends.

Okay, so this is one of those guilty pleasure books that will keep you entertained and a little embarrassed that you are entertained.

Things I liked about the book: The psychology behind the main characters, the use of conditioning, and how fast of a read it was.

Things I didn't like about the book: Sexual Assault, Stockholm Syndrome, and the stupidity of the characters.

The book has a different kind of plot and it is very dark compared to other novels that I have read. The main character is kidnapped, held hostage, forced into sexual experiences. This book frustrated me in the fact that BDSM does NOT equal abuse, or rape. Safe, Sane, and Consensual are the three things that don't really make an appearance.

The Great Mouse Detective- is a really underrated animation film made by disney that was released in the late 80's. Plus you have Vincent Price as the villian. I love Vincent Price he is such a excelllent actor.

The Plot: Basil embarks on the greatest case of his career when London's master toymaker is kidnapped. He ends up pitting his wits against his old adversary, Professor Ratigan, who wants to become `supreme ruler of all mousedom'.

The Great Mouse Detective- mixes "Sherlock Holmes", "The Rescuers" and "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad" togther into one film. You have mystery, comedy, adventure, action and music.

Its a very underrated film, that i highly recordmend.

Ducklady (1174 KP) rated the Xbox One version of Little Nightmares in Video Games

This game was so incredibly dark and disturbing while at the same time being mesmerising and beautiful. It is about a little girl called Six who seems to have been kidnapped and has to escape a ship filled with what appear to be monsters and creatures. The imagery is downright creepy, from the suicide connotations and the cannibalism. The "enemies" that Six must avoid to get out include a long armed "janitor", Vile looking "Twin Chefs", obese monstrous "guests" and a humming geisha lady who is the most threatening of all.
I highly recommend this game, its fun and quirky to play for a quick play through but has lots of interesting hidden content to explore and fun achievements to unlock.
