It was a good film. The dad jokes that Frank made were a bit bad but forgivable. The story was well done. My nephews (11 &7) loved it. My 7yo nephew gave it a 9 and a 5 (9.5). It does have some scary parts so for the younger kids you might want to see it first to gage if it is appropriate.

As I never watched the orignal witch mountain movies thought I would watch the remake first its okay with the rock in the lead role I've seen enough fims with him to know what to expect the effects are good plus there are blink and u might miss them cameos from the orignal kids even older I still spotted them

Watched last weekend rather entertaining but highly predictable plot. Never would I imagined the rock voicing krypto the super dog same goes Kevin Hart as ace but they have such good chemistry everytime they work together and then there's kate mckinion as a evil gerbil genius casting overall good movie for the kids
