A strange film, that seems totally random at times. It has a bit of an insight to the lives of a range of people in early 80's LA. From the spoilt rich kids, drugged up pop star, shady ex-con and a news reporter. The stories are very loosely interwoven. This is far from being anything like Crash though! There doesn't seem to be much of a plot to it at all or any conclusion. Just a brief look at their lives full of sex, drugs and 80's pop. A shame given the very strong cast list!

Parody of disney icon-er I mean fairy tale characters that make very quoteable lines

A great soundtrack by smash mouth

Cast chemistry

Although this is a kids movie there many innuendos that adults will laugh at

Villain is kinda weak but credit where credits due he is pretty funny (0 more)

Shrek is very funny

This movie is arguably DreamWorks greatest film and most recognizable too.

The cast is great and almost all of the characters are hilarious and the humor is gut hurtingly funny.

One negative is the villain is not that great

This is a cute little mystery about an ex-pop star who has been dumped by her fiance and had her money stolen from her. That actually intrigued me more than the mystery. I've always wondered what happens to these kids who have spent there formative years entertaining others.
The mystery is these girls have died on the elevator and the deaths are written off as "elevator-surfing".

The mystery is pretty easy to figure out and the jokes are a bit repetitive, but I enjoyed the characters and it's a quick, breezy read.

Great way to get morning news (3 more)

Check weather anytime

Understands a lot, even most of the mumblings of the 4 year old.

Can work as an intercom system for large homes.

Music will shut off after a few hours of play, then takes forever to restart. (0 more)

We love our google- use it for everything from checking weather, to asking stumped homework questions. Also a great tool for those random useless facts you are interesting in. It will tell jokes if you ask, and even lets you ask what Santa is doing, which the kids love doing closer to Christmas.

Aardman carry on delivering fun funny filns

Aardman make movies that on one hand are just full of a British charm and on the other have a classic slapstick appeal. The new Shaun the Sheep sequel hasn't lost any of its appeal. The alien they introduce is cute and fun and funny. Adults and kids were all laughing out loud such is its accessibility of anyone of any age. I could take a five year old with autism or my grandad to watch this film and both would laugh.

Great to be part of such a cool community. Hoping to meet a few other film buffs and talk about all things cinema and streaming. I'm a fan of horror and thrillers so any recommendations would be great.

I set up a blog a long time ago but kids (I have two) and work got in the way. Now with them being older I have some time again and have resurrected my film reviews site, albeit in a different guise. If you love a good film and an equally good (or bad) review then be sure to let me know!
