Exhilarating read, truly grim but exciting
While the killer does not turn out to be someone completely out of the range of suspects, the twists and turns leading up to the climax is exhilarating and enthralling.
El juego de Ripper
Book
A new direction for the world-famous, Chilean master of magic-realism... a story of a serial killer,...

Arkansas, some great people from there but pretty boring to drive through. Watching the movie was pretty similar. Killer cast who all gave amazing performances, but movie just felt bland. Not bad, not great, just is.
Eminence Hill (2019)
Movie
A trail of revenge leads a notorious killer and a lawman to a town of fanatics. Blood will flow.
Shield of Straw (2013)
Movie
A team of cops must protect an accused killer with a billion-yen bounty on his head.
The story is written from the point of view of a serial killer and takes the reader on a chilling journey. Not being a serial killer myself, I am not sure how accurate the narration is but it seemed to be quite believable to me - it is cold, devoid of empathy or guilt and terrifying in its detachment from the horror that he is inflicting.
I enjoyed this book although it did mess with my head a bit!

I watched this film on an wim. It was slightly slow to start but overall, I actually found it interesting.
It does bring up the theory of "is a serial killer born that way? Is something wrong with their brain? Or simply is it due to the way they were brought up and their early life?"
Alex Wolfe is great in the leading role as Dohmer, he plays the role very convincingly.
If you are interested in serial killer documentaries etc, definitely check out this film
