"I saw this film when I was a teenager, and it had a lasting impact on me, having been a fan of hip-hop but being largely unaware of the social conditions in France that made hip-hop culture so powerful there. There’s a scene in particular I have fond memories of in which Cut Killer is deejaying above the streets of his banlieue. So good."

3.5 stars.

The thing with this series is that I get really emotionally involved with Abel and Devlin's relationship. The ups and downs and wrongs and rights they encounter make me tear up because you can feel the pain they're experiencing and it's a killer for me.

I've already bought book 3 and will be reading it as soon as this review gets posted.

"Malcolm X began by adoring whiteness, grew to hate white people and, ultimately, despised the false concept of white superiority — a killer of people of color. And not only them: low- and middle-income white people too, as Metzl’s timely book shows, with its look at Trump-era policies that have unraveled the Affordable Care Act and contributed to rising gun suicide rates and lowered life expectancies."

London, the summer of 1936, and things seemed to be changing at an alarming rate - not always for the better. One of the less pleasant things happening was the discovery of two women, strangled by the murderer they called the "Tie-Pin Killer" due to his gruesome skewering of their tongues. Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019)
Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019)
2019 | Biography, Crime, Thriller
Although this movie spectacularly rose tints the crimes that Ted Bundy committed, this movie was fantastic! Zac Efron makes for one heck of a handsome serial killer and the story told from Elizabeth's point of view is such a sweet side of the story and you feel a little sympathy for Ted, he was such a great father figure. Fascinating movie to watch! Suggest it to everyone!
