Sarah Winston, a garage sale expert, knows how to run a successful garage sale and has made a business out of it. As part of a charity event, Sarah volunteers her expertise and agrees to manage an athletic equipment swap. While preparing the event, she is knocked out by a would-be robber and then the day of the event discovers the dead body of the local superintendent.

Sarah becomes an amateur detective and compiles a list of murder suspects that all seem to be other members of the school board. With her quick wit and sleuthing talents, Sarah must find the killer before the killer makes her another item for the dumpster.

This book is more than a charming cozy mystery; the author gives you inside tips into the world of garage sale selling and buying. The mystery, suspense, and moments of comedy keep you interested, while you try to guess who the culprit is.

When Eli Marks looks into the projection booth of the theater next door late one night, the last thing he expects to see if the projectionist dead on the floor of the locked booth. Against his will, he finds himself involved in the case and interviewing the eccentric suspects. But which of them is a killer? And how did they pull off the crime?

This is a wonderful mystery with the added locked room element. I had no clue where the book was going, but I couldn’t believe I didn’t figure it out when the clues and killer were presented at the end. The eccentric cast of suspects are fun, and the series regulars are great as always. Eli’s job as a magician is a great hook that makes this series stand out from the others.

When the head of the Venomous Animals Research Institute is found dead in the lab with a Gila monster next to him, Joe and Tom are called in to find out what is going on. It might be an accident, but they don’t think so, especially when they realize just how few people actually liked the victim. With more incidents happening, can the pair find the killer?

I’ve really been enjoying rereading these books, and this book was no exception. I did remember who the killer was about half way through, but that didn’t dampen my enjoyment at all. I never wanted to put the book down. The suspects are strong and become well developed as we get to further into the book. There are really only three main characters, but I’m enjoying getting to watch them grow.

Fabulous story with a killer cliffhanger ending!?
Fabulous story with a killer cliffhanger ending!? My first book by this author and I will SURELY be back for more! Greer is the sister of well-known millionaire and has never quite gotten over the "on who got away," Cav. Stood up by him three years ago, she has yet to let it go and after a huge drunken mistake that went viral, he shows up on her doorstep. No longer the maintenance man she met years ago in a coffee shot, he's one of the hottest and newest upcoming actors, feeling much more worthy of a woman like her. But there is something more.... something that he is keeping from her, the very reason he walked away from the one woman who he never forgot... Absolutely LOVED this book and will be impatiently waiting for the conclusion in Dirty Love!! HIGHLY recommended! one day read- didn't want to put it down!?
