The protagonist of this story was Luc, a french ex-Interpol detective, that was transferred to Edinburgh. I really, really liked this guy, he is intelligent and kind to the people who are nice to him. I really liked his managerial skills, he knew how to deal with other colleagues, and I respect him for that. This story is told from multiple perspectives, but my most favourite ones were of the killer. I like reading their perspectives, and what kind of insanity drives them to do what they do. The book was narrated by Robin Laing, and he has done an incredible job! I would never read a book in accents, and his use of French and Scottish accents sounded amazing! Just like listening to a play, just close your eyes and you can actually “see” what is going on.

Her life is devoted to justice; for those she never even knew. In the year since Temperance Brennan left behind a shaky marriage in North Carolina, work has often preempted her weekend plans to explore Quebec. When a female corpse is discovered meticulously dismembered and stashed in trash bags, Temperance detects an alarming pattern and she plunges into a harrowing search for a killer. But her investigation is about to place those closest to her, her best friend and her own daughter, in mortal danger...

Really good!

I had no idea it was connected to the TV series Bones when I started reading it, very glad I didn't although Im glad I was told as it helped picturing Temperance. Loved the book although remind me not to be eating while reading 🤣. Looking forward to getting stuck into the series!!

A Kevin Williamson Movie
I Know What You Did Last Summer- is like one of the longest horror titles of all time.

Yes this movie came our in the late 90's, so of course it was written by Kevin Williamson.

The plot: A year after running over a fisherman and dumping his body in the water, four friends reconvene when Julie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) receives a frightening letter telling her that their crime was seen. While pursuing who he thinks is responsible for the letter, Barry (Ryan Phillippe) is run over by a man with a meat hook. The bloodletting only increases from there, as the killer with the hook continues to stalk Julie, Helen (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and Ray (Freddie Prinze Jr.).

A typical 90's horror cast.

Its a okay movie, its not bad but far from great.
