Little does she know those were going to be the least of her problems.
When CJ asks her out on a date, she can’t believe that she is finally getting a silver lining in life. Only just when things couldn’t be going better for them, Megan and CJ disappear in a swirl of blue smoke and land in Nalrin. After suddenly finding herself standing before a woman claiming to be her mother’s sister, Megan finds out she isn’t human at all and that her parents fled Nalrin to save themselves. If that isn’t enough to make her head spin, now Megan must try to stop them from destroying Nalrin, and taking the one thing she isn’t willing to lose.
I really don’t know what kept me reading but for some reason I kept going till the end. It wasn’t all bad I just got a little bored halfway through and as I’d already come so far I pushed through. It was the kind of book where it’s magic so we will throw everything in including the kitchen sink.

She never expected to find her calling on the graveyard shift surrounded by dead bodies and the strange characters that make up the morgue's staff. Finding out that your friends and co-workers are shifters, ogres and other non-human creatures is a shock, but Sophie quickly realizes that these are her people, and she has finally found her perfect gig.
And then things get odd. Well… odder.
Unusual murders keep ending up on Sophie’s autopsy table, hinting at strange powers working within the city. Something nefarious is building in San Francisco, and it is up to Sophie and her friends to thwart the evil powers on the rise.
I absolutely loved this! It was funny and a refreshing enjoyable read. It was really good to see an author using the non apex predator shifters as the crime fighting team. If you’re looking for a supernatural fun read this is definitely recommended.

I have to ask would you take that pill?

Holy crap it all happens In This book!! It ran packed with drama, action and a little bit of spice! This has to be hands down my favourite one in the series. I know it’s a good book when towards the end you get that itchy feeling yes I’m very strange lol. Fern and her men really picked up in this book as well as the familiar faces from the first trilogy with Accacia and her vamps. Bea Paige has this way of drawing you in! Definitely recommend both this series and author although I can’t see anything for the next set of books.

Loved this kinda had to take a breath after Keiza finds those poor babies I even put it down for a few to just breathe. It was full of tension and I really liked that it was the two kick ass females taking the lead. I did want to shake Sam and say well that was a bit obvious mate!!! Really good ending! This is such a sad place to be knowing this was the last book Rachel Caine sent to be published and I can’t thank her enough for getting me through some hard times. Thank you..

He’s all wrong for me, I know that. I’ve always known, but it doesn’t stop me wanting him, it never will. The question is, can my heart ever recover or beat again the same way when he’s finished with me? Or will I live to regret laying my heart on the line and baring my soul to the one man who has the power to shatter me forever.
It was good I enjoyed it maybe not as much as the first one but it was good. A very sweet ending.

As tensions between Variants and humans continue to escalate, dark and dangerous secrets keep creating seemingly insurmountable challenges.

Will it ever be safe for Evelyn to go public with her true identity?
More deadly answers are coming, whether she's ready for them or not.
It was good!! This is the second book and mainly concentrated on Evelyn’s relationship with each of the men in her bond and getting them so they were all synced up! She’s trying to deal with this as well as finding a friend, finding out more about her mother which also reveals who her father was! Then dealing with betrayal on top of it all. Lots going on to keep you interested plus we finally get those scenes that have caused so much sexual frustration between the group. Highly recommended.

When you can see the light, you can see the darkness too.
And sometimes the darkness stares straight back at you.
This was better than the 1st book and much creepier especially read in the dark. For someone who has mental health issues the creepy dark figures of the mind were just skin crawling. There were some cringe bits but still I really enjoyed it! The whole love beats all was a bit of a small cringe but other than that it was a much creepier book. I always didn’t mind the whole family drama it added a base to the story.

There were some cringe bits but still I really enjoyed it! The whole love beats all was a bit of a small cringe but other than that it was a much creepier book. I always didn’t mind the whole family drama it added a base to the story.
