If I know I'll be able to be connected to wi-fi, I can create a list of talks I've been waiting to watch, and view them. Absolutely convenient that way. (0 more)

PLEASE NOTE MY REVIEW REFERS TO THE APP FOR KINDLE
My "The Bad" was too long for the characters allowed, so I had to post it here: The app doesn't let you download to your SD card if you have one attached, so the only way to download talks ahead of time without killing your storage space is to download them to the computer, move them to the SD card via USB and then watch them that way. Sort of defeats the "convenient factor", which totally and completely bummed me out.

I want to point out again that my review is regarding the app for Kindle. I do not know if this is the case on other platforms.

This is actually the fifth book in the series (with a novella making an additional story) of mysteries featuring Captain Lacey - and a thoroughly enjoyable series it has been too! The books are well written with myserties that you can follow but are full of twists and turns and red herrings. There is also a great cast of recurring characters in support. The mysteries are set in Regency England, mainly in London. If you enjoyed any of CS Harris' Sebastian St Cyr books I think you will also enjoy the Captain Lacey mysteries.

My only regret is that I've read my way through the series so far and that the next book is not yet available in a Kindle edition, as it promises to tie up some of the issues in Gabriel's personal life that have come to light over the series! Anyone looking to download these books onto their Kindle is also getting a bargain as the price is fantastic!

Superb reading experience
This is the ultimate top of the range in kindle e readers and reading on it is a great experience. Considering I have owned every version of their e-ink readers, I can easily compare.

The e-ink on this is perfect. You can turn pages by screen touch or buttons on the side. This is the first kindle reader to auto rotate, which makes the page turner buttons work however you hold it. It is waterproof and I’ve used it in the pool and in the bath. It has Bluetooth capability and so I listen to my audiobooks on it as well as reading ebooks.

The only disadvantages are the battery drains quicker than the paperwhite, but you just get used to charging more often, about once a week for me but I am a daily avid reader. The price point is also pretty high.

All that said, I love it and I’m pleased with it still two years down the line.

Fabulous.
This is only my second Pamela Clare novel and I’m wondering why. Romantic suspense is my favourite genre and I plainly have some catching up to do. I loved Joaquin’s story and couldn’t wait to pick my kindle back up to continue. I did figure out who the bad guy was early on but that didn’t deter me. It was fast paced with never a dull moment. Can’t wait for the next one.

I really enjoyed this collection of survivor stories. This was truly inspirational. At this moment, I have been dealing with some personal drama that has made me give up hope. It was truly a blessing that I found this novel as a Kindle First novel.

This book shows that we can all survive horrid situations. This is a good book if you're wanting an inspirational novel that shows the strength of survivors or horrid situations.

Slick and easy to use
I use the kindle app both on an iPad and an android device and it functions well on both. The usability and presentation is superior on the iPad version. There is good syncing between device use. As you should imagine, its pretty advert-led in terms of recommending hundreds of books to you on the front page of the app. All in all, great functionality and solid reading pleasure.

Hmm

Well I've had this on my Kindle for about six years now and honestly, after finishing it, I'm wondering why it's taken me so long to getting around to reading it.

It ended a little too abruptly but I enjoyed this story. It's been a while since I read a book where the characters controlled the elements so it was a nice change.

I'm looking forward to the other three brother's stories
