The First Fall ( when winter calls book 1)
By Daniel Willcocks
The sky is bleeding. The storm has come.
A crimson rift washes over the isolated Alaskan town of Denridge Hills, staining the Aurora Borealis the color of blood. To some, an unlikely occurrence. To those in the know, a sign of dark magic at play. When the storm has completed its devastation, who will be left standing?
A social media mogul holds the fate of her ex-lover in her hands. A high school student finds himself miles from home, his constitution and willpower put to the test. A researcher searches for his nephew, his knowledge of the town’s local history the only lead toward ending the madness.
When the world shrinks around you, the monsters come, and all that’s left is an unbending will to survive, who will emerge as the true heroes, and who will be marked as the villains?
This had me hooked from the beginning. Well written and a intriguing story! Left you wanting the next episode now!
I’ve been following Daniel Willcocks a while on instagram glad I finally got round to reading something He’s done!

Chasing Rabbits ( underground book 1)
By Erin Bedford
Alice was wrong. Wonderland wasn't so wonderful after all.
Kat never expected to be back in her hometown, but when house sitting turns into a mad rabbit chase, Kat finds herself with a whole new set of problems.
A two-headed bird with a Game of Thrones obsession, a party full of tea addicts, and a Cheshire Cat who could seduce the pants off her grandma? And if the citizens weren't bad enough, their prince was off his rocker.
This wasn't your run of the mill Wonderland. This was the fae world, where rules are rules, and some things are exactly as they seem.
I found myself a few times during this book stopping and asking myself wtf am I reading. It got a little confusing in parts to. I have changed my stars from 2 to 3 and back a few times as I just can’t make my mind up! I feel like I’ve smoked something funny after reading it lol. I think it’s intrigued me enough to continue on to book 2!

Granting her wish
By Erin Bedford
One mistake. Three wishes. Will true love be in the cards or are they only throwing pennies in a well?
Alysha wants nothing more than to open her own bakery and to get away from her jerk of a boss. Then she had to accidentally knock a priceless antique that is owned by said boss into a bucket of dirty water putting her job in jeopardy. When she sets about cleaning up her mess she gets a whole lot more than she wished for when sexy genie with an attitude comes pouring out.
Mac is cursed. Forced to serve humans until he can learn humility. He can't wait for his sentence to be over. When he meets the lovely, but naive Alysha, he will find himself wanting to grant her every desire, even if that means never seeing her again.
Another decent book from Erin Bedford she certainly writes a good paranormal romance. It was a quick read for me and I really enjoyed it! Highly recommend this author she captures the genre well!

Amria ( cursed book 2)
By Meg Anne & Jessica Wayne
She loved him, and he was going to die.Skye Giovanni's visions have always felt like a curse, but never more so than now. Plagued with nightmares of a future she cannot escape, Skye must do the impossible: stop fate in its tracks.Detective Lucas MacConnell has never met a case he couldn't crack. But one night at an art gallery changed everything, throwing him headlong into the war path of an ancient Druid. Now they're hiding out in Scotland, hoping to stay out of sight long enough to find what they need to stop the Druid once and for all.Unfortunately their names are at the top of his kill list, and the only way to get off is to get him first.
Oh I loved this more than the first one. The foursome head to Scotland. Not as much action in this one but the story building was just so good! I had already worked out the revelations that they uncover but it was still really good reading them! The relationship building was also so well done and not in your face. Wonder where pope has taken Skye.

Kira Dawson has the power to burn vampires to a crisp. The problem is, she doesn't know it yet. The even bigger problem is she's dating one.
When Kira Dawson moves to South Carolina, she meets Luke, a blond goofball who quickly becomes her best friend, and Tristan, a mysterious bad boy who sends shivers down her spine. Kira knows they're keeping secrets, but when she discovers Tristan's lust for blood and her own dormant mystical powers, Kira is forced to fight for her life and make the heartbreaking decision between the familiar comfort of friendship and the fiery passion of love.
Well it wasn’t terrible! If I had I’d say very middle of the line and slightly predictable. It had an interesting view on the “vampire slayers/catchers” but the end was definitely predictable. I good read if you need a gap filler. This is just my opinion and I wouldn’t put anyone of giving it a go!
