I’ve got a secret.

Savannah, Georgia is full of debutantes and greed. The Heirs own this town. They own me, too.

I don’t know what I did to ruin what we had. But their kindness turned cruel almost a year ago. I was prepared to leave it all behind and start over at a new school. But Rogue Kelly, the king of the Heirs, ruined that.

He doesn’t want me anymore but doesn’t want anyone else to have me either. I know too much to be set free, but not enough to stay.

The Heirs aren’t through with me yet. And I crave their cruelty too much to give up now.

When I first started reading this I honestly thought it would be a DNF but I was pleasantly surprised I actually liked it. I liked the story it had some bite reminded me a little of Penelope Douglas books. Not a bad read.

What a wonderful book for young children who have siblings. I loved this book, and while my children are older now, I so wish I had had this book when they were younger. This book is well written by the talented hands of Tracey Madder and is full of eye catching color and characters to really grab the attention of your young ones.

Tora Fright's story of forgiveness is a wonderful message for kiddos and adults alike. It has more than one message wrapped up in sweet Tora's story and it is so worth the read. I found myself turning to God more than once while reading this book, and thanking Him for the gentle reminders.

If you have young ones in your life, children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, then I highly recommed this book with 5 stars, especially if they have siblings, as patience, kindness and forgiveness are all woven into this story. I am looking forward to checking out the other Tora Fright books and seeing what other lessons she learns!

This book was tough to give the 3 stars too, I was torn between 3 or 4 it's more 3 1/2 stars.

I did enjoy the book, it was readable and it started off really well.
During the flash back story with the grandma in nazi Germany made me cry and only one other book has done that (the green mile) however after that point things started to get a bit samey, lots of finding inner peace, visions, darkness, sins it was just a little much and also there was one bit that made no sense, I won't say to much as don't want to ruin it but it was a guest that visited cynthia and I really didn't see the reason why it happened, it was never mentioned again, it was very out there but not in a good way.
I think the story was to make you think about karma, kindness, doing what's right for yourself and others but it did get a little in your face.
As I said it was readable but not something I would recommend as it's just too much religion for me I think.
