Strong plot
A thoroughly good read. It’s got the apocalyptic future, suspense, super scary moments and a main character you’re totally rooting for to succeed. There is a part that threw me...he meets a cult in the tunnels and they sound so much like the Jehovah’s Witnesses I did a double take. They call their ‘churches’ the Hall of the Kingdom, JWs call them Kingdom Halls. There is a sermon given that could have been read straight from one of their brochures, got me wondering if the author used to be a JW or studied with them.

Finn is having very strange and vivid dreams that find him in the Magic Kingdom of Disney World. Turns out it’s a side effect of his status as a holographic host. And he and the other hosts must figure out a way to stop an evil that is spreading through the park. I must admit the most characters were rather weak and plot had a couple big holes. But, Disney fanatic that I am, I couldn't put this young adult novel down.

Great Adventure
I love the Kingdom Hearts series because it offered great characters and fantastic worlds from so many favorite Disney movies. I was quite excited for Kingdom Hearts III when it finally arrived. The combat is definitely better here and moves more fluidly. The attraction attacks are a lot of fun, but a couple aren't so great. I did have some favorites though and it was always a blast to use them. The addition of mini games definitely adds to the fun of the game. The story itself is interesting with familiar characters and great nods to previous Kingdom Hearts games. I have never liked the gummi ship because the controls for it were always awful. The gummi ship controls are a little better here, but they're still not great. The game is a bit short, but it's still a great game with amazing graphics and fun gameplay making it worth the wait.

The mission isn’t over. Despite what the Kingdom Keepers want to believe, Wayne left them a final message, and Finn insists on following it. What he quickly learns is that the Overtakers aren’t all gone. But the reason surprise, is where he lands as he starts following the clues. Can the rest of the Kingdom Keepers join him in their new mission?
While technically a new series, this is really a continuation of the Kingdom Keepers books and should be treated as such. And fans of the characters will be delighted with this book that sets up an interesting new mission. I had a clue where the book was going, but I still had a blast getting there. The characters continue to be fairly flat, but that’s been a complaint since day one for me.

The Kingdom Keepers are back in 1955, trying to follow clues to find Walt’s pen so they can make sure it is properly preserved so they can use it in the future. Meanwhile in the present, Amanda and Jess are trying to figure out how to help them and stumble upon long buried secrets that might change the game for everyone.
The two plots are balanced perfectly, keeping us entertained. Plus we learn some hows and whys that I didn’t know I cared about but explain much of what has been happening in the Kingdom Keeper series. We don’t get as much direct action as in previous books, but there is still some of that, and it is great. Plus, as a DisNerd, I was extremely green with all the Kingdom Keepers got to do in 1955.

Shadows over Camelot is a Co-operative game built around king Arthur and his knights of the round table. You as one of Arthur's trusted guards or maybe even arthur himself. You defend the kingdom, find excalibur, discover the holy grail and Lancelot's armor, and maybe fight a dragon or two. Also watch out for a traitor. One of you might not be as noble as they seem. Plan on more than an hour for your first game.
