Great location
Decent Horror film
When I first heard this was a creepy doll movie I didn't get my hopes up. Surprisingly I did enjoy it. Lauren Cohan of The Walking Dead is good as the Nanny. The Mansion is almost a character in itself looking like a Gothic Castle. It has some neat twists and was much better than I expected.

Not perfect action movie plenty of good stunts mareally walberg always watchable and when u have iko uwais from the raid in the movie u know what to expect very violent movie my type of movie shame about the short running time

Ridiculous
I was expecting a proper horror film, or at least something vaguely scary, but this was nothing of the sort. The best I can say is that the odd part was creepy, but even those were verging on laughable. The whole plot is just silly and they could've done so much better in making it scarier. It may be classed more of a thriller, but to me it just wasn't what I was expecting. Some of the script is cheesy and so predictable, and the ending was just a bit of a letdown. Its a shame really as Lauren Cohan and Rupert Evans do fairly well and they're both very watchable, they just aren't given decent material to work with.

It has been four years since audiences last met Taj Mahal Badalandabad(Kal Penn), as he interned under Van Wilder in the film of the same name.
In Van Wilder 2: The Rise of Taj, we catch up with a more seasoned and confident Taj as he embarks on a trip to England in order to earn his teaching Doctorate under an advisor program.
From a outrageous encounter on his flight to England to running afoul of the snobbish Pipp Everett (Daniel Percival), Taj soon finds himself watching over a house full of some of the most dysfunctional people he has ever seen.
Undaunted, Taj decides to mentor his charges in much the same way that Van Wilder helped him, and hopes to help them earn a sense of dignity and self respect.
When Taj encounters the lovely Charlotte (Charlie) Higginson (Lauren Cohan), he earns the wrath of Pipp who happens to be dating Charlotte and already has a strong dislike for Taj and his students.
What follows is a fun, if predictable romp, where Taj and company must battle Pipp and his minions and prevail.
While this version contains its share of gross out comedy, there are some genuine fun and light-hearted moments. While it will not be remembered as one of the great comedies, of the year, there are some enjoyable moments in the film, especially Kal Penn who carries the film as well as he can with the material he is given.
In many ways the film plays out as a by the numbers comedy, yet there are some fun moments here, and if you were a fan of the first film, you just might find this your cup of tea.

Gripping in parts but not a standout
d put off watching this for some time, but when I caught the trailer for Brahms: The Boy II which on the face of it looked quite good, I had to give the original one a go.
Having seen Lauren Cohan as Maggie in The Walking Dead for as many seasons as I could stand before I gave up on it, she always stood out as a talented actress.
Here she plays Greta Evans who is looking to escape an abusive past and finds sanctuary in a small English village as a nanny for a wealthy couple and their 8-year old boy, Brahms.
Turns out that young Brahms is a doll and parents Mr and Mrs Heelshire care for him just like a real boy, as a way to cope with the death of their actual son 20-years earlier.
The Boy is a horror film that does little to ignite the nerves but it does hold a degree of suspense. Greta, unconvinced by Brahms flaunts a set of strict rules set by the parents and it’s only then that things start to get eerie.
With no one to turn to except local deliveryman Malcolm (Rupert Evans), she is convinced there is something more to Brahms than just his creepy blank stare. And she would be right, as the little wooden boy goes full Pinocchio and starts moving about, or does he?
While it’s daft I did find myself gripped in certain parts although I’m not sure it warranted a sequel but a sequel it has got – just don’t expect a standout horror film.
