ArecRain (8 KP) rated Sky High, Bone Deep in Books

As someone who reads a lot of erotica, this was not the worse nor the best. First of all, it was very short with little development beyond learning about the characters. Some of the dialogue with just awkward to read and I found myself skipping over certain scenes. Do not be fooled. There is nothing kinky about this book.

Entertaining and Educational
Not something I would pick up in my own or read again, but it provided a very interesting and entertaining journey.
I love the author's storytelling, it was genuine and enjoyable. She asked excellent and entertaining questions in her pursuit of learning. This book in someone else's hands wouldn't have been nearly as entertaining.

I loved this book! Full of intrigue, puzzles, and symbolism, this is a fast paced book that captures you and leaves you constantly wanting to know what comes next. It was fascinating to follow this action packed story and at the same time learning about the secret societies and the history intertwined into the journey taken by the characters

I came across this podcast some time ago & I love it. There are 4 random facts presented each epidode by the QI Elves. Sometimes things go off on a tangent & you end up learning about something else as well. This podcast is always a fun listen and I highly recommend it.

Playing through our first campaign, we had to unlearn things from D&D, but the mechanics are very similar to those in 3.5. It took a few sessions for us to figure out the spiral for health and the xp system, but we're getting the hang of it and learning not everything needs to be killed.

This is a very interesting partner (4 player) strategy game. Not always a good idea to be passive in this one. The randomness in teams to start is interesting as well. Some of the pieces work together well and some are mehh. Overall I have enjoyed the few times I have played even on the losing end. Learning each game.

I really enjoyed all the points of this story. I enjoyed learning things within black culture that I may not have known before. Even if you arent into video games this was a great book. I will say I didn't care for how blinded she seemed to be to the toxic relationship the main character was in throughout the book.
