Keep it Creepy, Keep it Cool
I am relatively new to the world of Podcasts and luckily for me Spirits was one of the first I came across. It immediately became a must listen for me. I love learning the history of various mythologies and stories from around the world, as well as the hilarious tangents that the girls often go down.

If I could give this more than 5 stars I would.
This is a story about learning who you truly are, fighting the system, and overcoming death even if it is temporary. Add in a slow build romance that feels real and you have rosemarked.
Zivah and Dineas's story is told from alternating points of view. The author does a fantastic job of portraying each view point.

Arabs, Vikings & Mythical Beasties
I'm not capable of being objective about this film - it is one of my all time favourites, however it has a fantastic story and it's brilliantly delivered - albeit a bit gorily in places. However if you need one reason to watch this film, let it be for the fantastic scene that shows the protagonists linguistic journey to learning a new language.

Trish (4 KP) rated The Fallen Star (Fallen Star, #1) in Books

I got this free on the Amazon Kindle store so figured I might as well give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. It had elements of sci-fi but the usual Young adult genre fit right in. I enjoyed learning about all the characters and finished this book rather quickly. I am now on the second and there are 2 more after that!
