Surprisingly heartwarming
It’s not original in the slightest and the jokes are pretty crude and childish, but for someone who grew up watching the original American Pie film, this is ridiculously heartwarming and sentimental. There’s something warm and fuzzy about seeing the characters from the original film(s) now all grown up and still learning life’s lessons. On that basis alone it’s pretty enjoyable, it’s just a shame it follows the same old formula as the other films. You’d have thought Jim would’ve been a bit wiser by now!

I had high hopes for [The Dynamics of Disaster] since I love learning about how disasters impact our world. Although [Susan W. Kieffer] obviously knows her content and is passionate about it all the technical reading turned out to be a bit dry. I imagine the author would be a wonderful person to take a class from or work with the human wit does not transfer well to scientific information in text form.

That being said I would love to work with her on her CDC-PE idea.
