OK spoof film
Another spoof starring Leslie Nielsen sending up Die Hard, Jame Bond and plenty of other action films. It will raise a few laughs but not the best spoof around.

Prom Night (1980)
Prom Night (1980)

One of the earliest slasher film genres, but sure looks dated now! Starring Leslie Nielsen and Jamie Lee Curtis, it starts very slow and is quite predictable. It does have a couple of good moments though. Just had a re-make done also!

Silly spoof
A silly spoof that could have been so much better as it doesn't really make fun of the Horror films it's aimed at like Scary Movie does. Ok cast and a cameo from Leslie Nielsen but not much going for this.

A good decent spoof of Bram Stokers Dracula, and many a Hammer horror film. It has the king of spoof films in Leslie Nielsen being very silly indeed. Very light hearted by todays standards. A good fun film with some impressive sets I have to add!

Watched last night on Disney plus is it as funny as the naked guns kinda I did laugh but not as much as I would have done withthe naked gun movies and casting matlock as the villain of the movie just doesn't work for me

Hilarious!
One of my favourite Comedies and possibly the best Spoof one. Always makes me laugh. From the same team behind @Airplane! (1980) and @Top Secret! (1984) it has the same sort of humour and a great mix of gags.

Airplane! (1980)

"Also, the very first Airplane! movie, with that zany comedy, slapstick-y, sight gag thing going on. I’d never seen a movie like that before. Of course, after that came more Airplanes and Hot Shots, Top Secret, and the Naked Gun movies. But Airplane took me so by surprise, and Leslie Nielsen was brilliant."

One of the original sci-fi classics
Up there with the original War of the Worlds as an original science fiction classic.

The art direction, look, feel and musical score of the film are amazing even by today's standards. Ok some of the special effects have not aged well, but it doesn't take away from the foreboding and interesting adventure.

Watch a brown-haired Leslie Nielsen do battle with the Krell alongside Robby the Robot.

This Is Your Ransom
Ransom- is a great thriller. Full of suspense, drama, action, crime and thrills.

The plot: Through a life of hard work, airline owner Tom Mullen (Mel Gibson) has amassed a great deal of wealth. When a group of criminals want a piece of his cash, they kidnap his son (Brawley Nolte) for a $2 million ransom. Encouraged by his wife (Rene Russo) and an FBI agent (Delroy Lindo), Tom prepares to pay the money, but the ransom drop goes awry. Enraged, Tom decides to turn the tables on the kidnappers by making the ransom a bounty on their heads -- which he announces on national television.

The original story came from a 1954 episode of The United States Steel Hour titled "Fearful Decision". In 1956, it was adapted by Richard Maibaum and Cyril Hume into the feature film Ransom!, starring Glenn Ford, Donna Reed, and Leslie Nielsen. The film was also influenced by Ed McBain's police procedural novel King's Ransom.

Also it has a great surporting cast: Rene Russo, Gary Sinise, Brawley Nolte, Delroy Lindo, Liev Schreiber, Evan Handler, Donnie Wahlberg, and Lili Taylor. Gibson. Ron Howard does it again.

Its a great thriller and a must watch film, it will leave you on the edge of your seat until the very end of the film.
