I borrowed this from the Kindle Unlimited Library.

I read the first volume of this years ago and was intrigued by why these two characters were causing a war across almost all the universe and this one explains it a lot more. They are from rival sides of a war and Marko was Alana's prisoner after he handed himself in. They grew closer and she eventually helps him escape his imprisonment. Fast forward a while and almost every assassin in the galaxy is after them. They get interrupted by Marko's parents who cause havoc for a while and we see a few childhood scenes.

I do quite like this series but it isn't grabbing me as much as the other recent Graphic Novel I read is. I'm intrigued as to what's going to happen in the end and if the trio will survive and win the war against everyone who's gunning for them.

"""When it comes to documentaries, I am not a fan of current trends of reenactments and celebrities reading the words of unavailable subjects. Skip the elaborately constructed interstitial animations and give me old-school talking heads and archival footage with scripted, voice-of-God narration to help move me where you want me to go. The Times of Harvey Milk is what I’m talking about. Winner of the 1985 Oscar for Best Documentary, Rob Epstein and Richard Schmiechen’s powerful account of the assassination of San Francisco’s first openly gay elected official remains one of the most riveting documentaries ever made. It tells the story of San Francisco’s gay community and the fight for gay rights in the late 1970s through dynamic talking-head interviews, gripping archival footage, and devastating narration by Harvey Fierstein. It is also one of the very few gay-themed films to be selected for the Library of Congress’s National Film Registry."

Too stubborn on the wrong things
This is the second book of the series. I have not read the first, but was able to follow along fairly well while realizing that this wasn't the first part if the story. I didn't get lost and was able to piece together most of the missing information. The few gaps I still had that book one probably filled didn't detract me from enjoying the story.
Stubborn characters are great, mostly.
The characters where fun and there are a lot of humorous bits, as well as, steamy ones.
I won't be buying this series (unless I get it secondhand cheap) but I would check it out at the library. And can see how others would love it.
It has a bit more romance than I usually like and I did know this so I didn't (tried not to) over bias myself.
