Nice flow to the album (0 more)
No real stand-out tracks (0 more)
You hear the beat of the first track and you know it's going to be a good Underworld album. This whole album seems to be more beat/bass focused than their more melodic ones, but it works well. Starts off quite energetic and bright at the beginning, then allows down and has a darker feel for tracks 4 and 5 before lightening up again towards the end. I didn't really dislike any tracks, although preferred the more energetic ones, but also nothing really stood out, unlike previous albums where there have been one or two tracks that I just love listening to again and again. If I had to pick a favourite track it would be the first one, "I Exhale".

"I get all the Queen records mixed up because there are so many neat songs but there never was, in my opinion, a consistent groove to one of the records where you could clearly identify a distinct period during those first few. But the operatic approach to Queen totally changed how I viewed heavy rock and I still think that Brian May was ahead of his time with his weird picking, guitar tones and harmonies. Of the later Queen material, I was listening to 'Who Wants To Live Forever' the other day and Freddie's voice – every time I hear it, my eyes fill up. It's so incredibly emotional and that's what we, as musicians, want to elicit from the listener. Freddie and Queen were such a huge part of my life."

I was really enjoying this up until the 88% mark, after they'd (mainly Sarah) figured out what idiots they had been for the last seven years, and then I kinda lost interest because I was only reading it for their relationship and it sort of went somewhere else.

But for that first 88% I was really enjoying it and the way Will acted around Sarah, both in the past and the present, was really cute and I really liked him. It was love!

On the other hand Sarah was a bit annoying in her inability to believe he loved her after listening to the lies of one jealous girl all those years ago and then pushing him away at every opportunity but she came through in the end.

"I love every album by Kanye, and I covered part of "Heartless" from the 808s & Heartbreak album [in]. But if I had to pick just one, I would pick My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. I remember listening to it for the first time, and it was like a proper, physical shock. It still feels really modern. It sums up everything I love about Kanye: excess, the production, memory, the future. It's comic, it's tragic, it's extravagant—and at the centre there's this one voice, and it's an angry man battling his demons. It's very much an album in format, as well—I wouldn't choose just one song. It's an experience. Sometimes I forget about this album, voluntarily, and I go back to it and discover something else. It's like a hydra, with a hundred heads."
