2007 remake of a 1950s original (which I haven't seen), and - I'm sorry to say - , this just didn't do it for me.

Despite starring two stellar actors in Christian Bale and Russell Crowe, I found this to be slow, plodding and just, well, boring; never really taking off or holding my attention at all.

You want to see a good film/Western (in all but name) by James Mangold? Stick with the infinitely-superior 'Logan'.

"I loved the book. I’m probably one of those readers who judges movie adaptations far too harshly, but I was very excited to see the movie and when it came out, not disappointed at all. So incredible. I loved Logan Lerman, and Ezra and Emma as well. The cinematography, the acting, everything was just spectacular. A special film, especially to teenagers growing up in this world and finding out completely who you are."

I had a preview ticket for Logan, but I was too sick to go. For me to not go to a Marvel film you know that I had to be really sick. Finally got round to seeing this with my friend though. It was a really good film, much more drama than superhero, and the performances were really good. I managed to stay away from spoilers too which was almost a miracle... but that ending.
