Auburn (57 KP) rated The Orphan's Wish (Hagenheim, #8) in Books

A retelling of Aladdin that is in no way near the original story. And that is ok! This story follows Aladdin and his love as they search for a way to be together through all odds.
I really enjoyed that this wasn't like any Aladdin book I have ever read. I have read most of the other books by this author and always love how characters pop up from the other stories. This one was different in the way that you felt more for Aladdin. He wants to be able to provide, to show that he can take care of Kirstyn. In the end this book has all the romance, swooning, and love that all her other books do. A solid addition to a non-series that I can't wait to add to my collection.

A Tethered Duet ( Tethered series book1)
By Jessica Wayne
Can love span centuries? Two hundred years ago, a jealous sorcerer robbed Aine and Aengus of their future together when he ended Aine's life. Now a spell will offer them a second chance...But when Aine returns as Abby to Ireland, can she and Aengus reignite their love? Have the lifetimes apart dampened the love they once felt for each other? Or have the centuries provided the sorcerer with enough power the keep them apart for eternity?
It was a very enjoyable read! A very sweet story with a few dramatic moments! The little prequel story after Was also very sweet! If you like a good old romance with a magical twist you will enjoy this Duet.

Truly magical
This book is truly magical.
The characters are so beautifully crafted that you will fall in love with each and every one of them.
As I read this story I felt as though I had entered a dream where I was falling more and more in love with each word I devoured.
The three siblings at the centre of this book are desperate for love but a curse of threatens to ruin everything.
I fell so deeply in love with these people that heart became their hearts.
The writing stops being words on a page and it’s becomes something your eyes are seeing for themselves.

I Love a Book is done well. I love the pictures and it keeps me fantastic. Young Children would love looking at the pictures for hours. It would keep them to turning the page. The story is sweet as well. I believe it rhymes and make it more of a poem for parts of it.
The author does a wonderfully with it. It also might about the author when he was a young boy. You have young children that love books will this book talk about books throughout. It great for readers and parents but also for children that want learn about books a bit as well.

Another incredible book by one of my favorite authors. Kristy has a way of writing that truly makes you feel as though you KNOW these characters and love them, scars and all. I am HUGE Driven Trilogy fan and this book was a perfect addition.. LOVE Hawke and Quinn and my absolute favorite parts were the moments we got to revisit with Colton, Riley and most of all, special guest appearances from the D-Bags! My all-time favorite rockers hanging out together (love it!). Love the witty banter between Quinn and the guys and Quinn's strength is apparent throughout. Another absolute must-read.... beautifully written story!
