Poor Laurence and Temeraire are in the thick of it again. this amazing story that deals with loyalty and betrayal will make you think and examine everything you thought you knew. I love how turn of the century England is portrayed. And we get to see more angry Laurence. Africa will hold many surprises and hopefully a cure.

She isn't fine really
I didn't't know what to expect with this book, I just got it because everyone loved it. I expected a cute love story but it wasn't. Its about a girl with attachment issues due yo abuse and neglect. Its a while since I read it but i just remember it was very good.

"I love this morbid and mischievous book! The story traces how a man commits murder by indulging in his greatest obsession: his sense of smell. It’s about passion, desire and doing whatever it takes to experience perfection, in this case, the ultimate perfume. But does this all equal happiness? The book explores and uncovers the drive for the unattainable."

"A classic. Everything is perfect. On top of its incredible cinematography and mise en scène, I think it’s the story that attracts me to it. I love the idea that the hero is a huge asshole. And I cry every time his son falls off of his horse. That’s maybe why I never rode a horse."
