The review ... oh the review. I was going to rate this book 3 stars, but it gets a bump due to the hilarity of it. When your husband, who you forced to listen to the audiobook during car excursions, laughs hysterically at a book .. I mean, that gets points.
The start of this book felt very, very young adult, very funny, super funny and entertaining and the audiobook version of this I think made it so fun to read. I think maybe my favourite character was ms vamp - I love it when secondary characters just jump out of a page and just catch your interest like that.
Overall the story was cute and entertaining, the end of the book took on a more serious, but yet still funny note (how is that even possible!) but that is so good, I'm interested to see where the story ends up and will definitely pick up book 2 in the series.

Fabulous story with a killer cliffhanger ending!?
Fabulous story with a killer cliffhanger ending!? My first book by this author and I will SURELY be back for more! Greer is the sister of well-known millionaire and has never quite gotten over the "on who got away," Cav. Stood up by him three years ago, she has yet to let it go and after a huge drunken mistake that went viral, he shows up on her doorstep. No longer the maintenance man she met years ago in a coffee shot, he's one of the hottest and newest upcoming actors, feeling much more worthy of a woman like her. But there is something more.... something that he is keeping from her, the very reason he walked away from the one woman who he never forgot... Absolutely LOVED this book and will be impatiently waiting for the conclusion in Dirty Love!! HIGHLY recommended! one day read- didn't want to put it down!?
What an incredible story! This was my first book by BJ Harvey and I can surely say I'll be back for more. I LOVED these characters! Callum is not the typical male rich slut found in most erotic novels, having come from a good home and family but this book is entirely from his POV, which was a much-welcomed change. He comes from a pure place that makes his secret sexual desires seem dirty and forbidden to him. Lucia, on the other hand, is a force of nature and I LOVED her beyond words! Again, unlike your typical female lead. She is strong, witty, independent and confident... all the things Callum truly needs in his life. When they push limits together their bond is tested.. yet I never thought for a second these two wouldn't make it.. their connection so palpable, I hoped it would only make them stronger. Incredible love story - Highly recommended!

What an absolutely incredibly beautiful story!? LOVED it... Adriana and blown me away yet again!? Alison is a hard-working single mom, waiting tables at multiple jobs and making sure her son, Hux, is taken care of and happy. After one failed marriage to a former judge, who's now spending time in jail for his lying illegal ways and the whole ordeal left Ali scarred and determined to stay out of the public life. Until she meets Barrett that is... the hot single mayor everyone has been drooling over. Barrett is immediately drawn to Alison and finds himself questioning everything that he worked so hard for... This book was unbelievably sweet, I was brought to happy, heart-wrenching tears over and over!? These two were incredibly hot, Barrett was an absolute sweetheart and Alison was smart, conscious and a wonderful mother. I can't recommend this book enough... Beautiful, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended love story by an amazing author!!

Sweet Summer Love Story
I was a little bit unsure of this book, because of the name. I was afraid it was going to be one of those stereotypical books where the girl gets skinny/ discovers make up/ something happens that suddenly makes her pretty, and all the boys notice her. I was pleasantly suprised that it was a lot more than that. Yes it is stated that Belly was prettier than in the past, but all the boys in the story had reasons to like her that went beyond looks. At 16 Belly is starting to act more like an adult, and that plays a large role in drawing the boys attention.
This book also did a great job showing that the characters had more going on than just a teen romance. I read this in a day, and would highly suggest it to anyone looking for a fun new read.

BookwormMama14 (18 KP) rated The Night Voyage: A Magical Adventure and Coloring Book in Books

From the creative story to the detailed artwork, Daria Song has brought us another fantastic coloring book. Continuing with the dream style story and beautiful pages, this book is sure to keep me occupied for hours. Coloring has becoming a peaceful and quiet outlet for me over the past year or so. Expressing creativity on paper through color is one of my favorite things to do. If you have not experienced the joy of putting your pencil to page, Daria's series is an excellent place to start. I enjoy the intricate detail of her work. I have always had an obsession with stars and Daria's stars have a very unique personality which I love. Purchase your copy today and be whisked into a magical world of dreams and color.

Just as good as the movie
Now when I say just as good as the movie. The book and movie are not the same by a long shot. It is still the same story but their are huge differences in the book and the movie. But I been learning that's actually good. Because the experiences will be different, you can watch the movie and understand the story and plot and characters. But reading it and going on the adventure with the chara is so much different.
I loved this book, I loved how different it was because I didn't know what would happen ir how it would end. And I was happy with it, I love it just as much as the movie. And I recommend it to anyone who loves the movie or other movies/shows like it. It's slow you get involved with the characters and understand them better. Absolutely 10/10 wouldn't change a thing.

Zero to Hero

Disney's take on the Greek mythological Hero.
Hercules (Tate Donovan), son of Zeus, was kidnapped as a baby by minions of Hades (James Woods) and is found and raised by mortals in a superman-esque kinda way.
Now a teenager, Hercules wants to know about his real parents. Along the way he needs to perform a rite of passage on Earth to prove himself worthy of living with the gods on Mount Olympus and dealing with his first true love With help from his plucky satyr sidekick, Philoctetes (Danny DeVito), who's along for the ride, Hercules must learn how to use his strength to become the hero he's needed to be.
This movie is very light hearted and has an array of characters you can appreciate, many vibrant colours manage to draw you in, great dialogue and banter between characters with a meaningful story.
My personal favourite Disney animation.

Merissa (12363 KP) rated The Bend-Bite-Shift Box Set in Books
Dec 17, 2018
First of all, this box set is an absolute bargain. Not only do you get three full-length novels but you also get two novellas as well.
The plot is well written and well paced. The characters all have depth and oomph to them, and more than one has a hint of mystery to them. The story has one main theme which runs through all five books but then each book has it's own, more detailed story. There is enough going on that is a series that could go on for a few more books at least. I'm really hoping it does! +Olivia Hardin has written some more in the "For Love of Fae" trilogy which will have at least some characters that we have already met.
If you want Paranormal Romance with some action and mystery, with powers to 'bend' your mind at an incredible value for money price, then check out the Bend-Bite-Shift Box Set.

A very good thriller
I’ve read and enjoyed quite a few of John Marrs books and couldn’t resist reading this when I spotted it on Kindle Unlimited, and I’m glad I did as it’s a rather enjoyable thriller.
As with all of John Marrs books, it’s definitely well written and as you get into this it’s very difficult to put down. The characters are well developed and interesting, even though neither of them are particularly likeable. Simon especially is rather a conflicted character and I developed a rather intense dislike of him by the end of the book, and I do love when a story can make you really feel something for the characters. There is a slightly unpredictable twist in this, but I couldn’t say it’s a massive surprise and it doesn’t really matter as this book is all about the journey to find out what happened to the characters over the 28 years. The ending is just a good resolution to a rather intriguing story.
