My major issue with this film is that Amelia Rennes is a completely fictional character, and she's a very cliched and irritating one at that. They've obviously put her in for a little more excitement and romance, rather than actually concentrate on the true real story. There was no real depth or interest in the entire story either and I find it so dull and boring. I love Felicity Jones and Eddie Redmayne but I felt like even they couldn't save this film. It's a complete "Hollywoodised" film, which tried to focus on the drama and adventure rather than the real science behind it all. Such a disappointment.

It's a very sweet story about a sheltered young girl who is scared of her own shadow. She wants to prove her mother wrong and sneaks out only to meet Kota. The first of 9 guys who will slowly change her world. In order of meeting, Kota, Victor, Silas, Nathan, Gabriel, Luke, North, Dr Green, and Mr Blackbourne. Very heartwarming and you fall in love with all the characters a little more each time. I reread each book whenever a new one is released so I've read it quite a lot :) well worth the read as a starter to the reverse harem sub genre.

The story and person behind the killings is unusual, I didnt see it coming and loved the suspense aspect of the book towards the end. This book is fast-paced with great characters that you really come to love. I haven't read any of the other books with the same characters but would consider it now.
There is a lot of backstory to unpiece around the characters. I felt at times this took a large proportion of the story but now I've read the whole thing I wouldn't say it was overpowering. Initially, I thought the case impossible to unravel but it was done well with enough details and suspense throughout.
