Man that ending sucked - not in a bad way - I was hoping for a sweet little reunion between Mencheres and Kira but alas. The story was written incredibly well and it was good to hear Mencheres' story and his past.

I love the Orphans series. It's amazing how a story can be so good and so involved even though it's not splattered with text. It has just enough for a great story, while it doesn't ever feel overwhelming. Volume four has some insane moments.
