Coming from someone who enjoys reading MM romance, Dom of Las Vegas was a good enough book. I liked the way the author had incorporated different aspects of Las Vegas into the story. There were parts that I actually laughed because even though certain casinos weren't named, I knew exactly which ones they were. (I lived in Vegas for 20 years and picked them out rather quickly.)

The one downfall that I had a hard time with was Max's speak. It was too dry for my tastes. But this was a decent book and a quick read

"This is definitely on my list of the greatest movies ever. I saw it in the theater and it was the first time I actually experienced hypnosis in cinema—a conscious hypnosis. It’s one of the mysteries of filmmaking for me—why does it work, and how does it work?—but to be honest I don’t want to look into it because I want it to stay a mystery. If I were running the Library of Congress I would make a 70 mm copy of this and put it in a nuclear shelter, just in case."
