"Another film that feels like a documentary. Garrone has managed to take all the sentimental glamour out of the Mafia—which sneaks into a lot of films on the subject—and shows it to be the frightening, feeling-less business that it must be. Paradoxically, the lack of emotion is what gives the film its power, and what ultimately makes it so moving and memorable."

This mafia thriller was pretty good for what it was. The cinematography was done well and the acting was decent. The story, while somewhat predictable, played out well, though was slow going in the first half. It ended up having some intense, violent scenes(kind of graphic) by the end. If you're into rioting for the bad guy movies, you'll like this one. Worth a watch.
